The property is old and tired. It also had a moldy smell. The bathroom floor was sticky. It does not compare well, relative to the Quality Inn we’re staying at tonight in Concord NC, which is much cleaner and better equipped, for instance giving us two soaps versus just one. The brunch was not good, except for the waffles which were fine. Even though we were in the breakfast room early’ish, there were hardly any potatoes and sausage patties left and they looked unappetizing. The price for the room was good however, so that was a good thing.

My stay was nice and comfortable. Receptionist was very friendly. Building, stairs, hallways are dirty. Pressure washing and paint will make a difference.

We needed a room to spend the night after our plane was diverted and we were stuck at the airport for 19hrs. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Airport transportation was convenient for us.

Check-in was Easy Peasy. Parking spaces were plentiful. It was quiet throughout the nights that we were there. The room was very nice with a sofa for sitting with a coffee table plus a coffee maker and a small refrigerator. The bed was very comfortable with a cushion top and still firm. Free breakfast with scrambled eggs, biscuits with sausage gravy, and sausage links.They also had waffle makings.

Everyone I communicated with was just great, all of them, there are many folks who are long term residents and smell of weed is everywhere! I had some smoke sneaking into my room from "somewhere" (adjoining door to the next room could have been the reason!) around 10PM and I had to open the door to get some fresh air. The area needs a bit of TLC, sounds like there is a new owner that has given up on the future and potential of property and staff. Good people, very good people.

We booked 6 rooms for family that came for a family funeral. The rooms were clean. The night deskclerk was not very friendly and rude to several family members. The breakfast was ok but the lady in breakfast area was a little bit gruff. One of my brothers had spiders in his room.
