The cabin was clean and cute. The manager was not as approachable or receptive as we would have liked. Coffee was the only thing offered every morning and some days it was not as fresh as it could have been. My cousin lived right next to it so we were able to get fresh coffee at her place. It was quite expensive for what you get.

I was not pleased with the facilities and will not plan to return in the future. Walls are paper thin, can hear the next room. Had a hard time with the shower. Maid service non existent...no cleaning the room, not throwing trash away, no replacing empty tissue box, hand soap disappeared after first use and never replaced, a/c was loud and annoying, ...I could go on an on. Not recommending them at all.

The woodwork of the beds, tables and Motel was beautiful. The rooms are minimal, but clean and nice. We would have liked to have access to coffee other than from the office at a limited time and amount. Possibly put small coffee pots in the rooms. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Our office was open and management on site of property. Not sure how we missed you. we have 24/7 staff also if no one was at the front desk there is there hotel main line posted by the front desk to reach the staff. Sorry for the inconvenience

We had a wonderful time in Gunnison. The Long Holiday Hotel was very clean, comfortable, and convenient. You will need to bring your own hairdryer.

This is the fourth time we've stayed at Long Holiday. The price is always on the low side, and it's close enough to everything. The other three times we were in a different room. This time, our bed was much firmer than our liking, and the only other room we could have had for the 2nd and 3rd nights had a bed that was just as firm. I bought a memory foam topper locally and the next two nights were fine. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay this time and previously stays. One note: Bring your own shampoo and conditioner—the supplied packets aren't easy to tear open with wet hands.

The room was not sound proof. I could hear people talk clearly from both walls. It was awful as It was loud and I could not rest. Also, they have a Hot Tub outside and I was told it was private by the front desk clerk. I thought was really strange as it appears it is for the quests as it is located out front across from the office? I have never heard of private hot tubs at hotels? The room was cute and clean. The pillows were old and thin. The room cost over $100. No Continental Breakfast etc.. I will not be staying there again.

What a quaint place. Old school type motel very clean and updated. Just what you need for an overnighter or a few days cause rooms are on smaller size. Owners very nice people. Very comfortable.

Paper walls and not good service at front desk
The owner was rude and charged us more than it was stated on my hotels.com booking confirmation. The rooms are small but nice however we could not sleep because it has paper walls and could hear everything from next room!

There was a hot tub on site. But it was private and only for the owners. If you want an owners only hot tub maybe don’t put it out in front of all of your guests ?

A puppy tail (tale)
Cute, immaculate property--our room included a micro, fridge, and even a small stove and kitchen basics--bring a comfy camp chair if you want a soft place to sit. There is a cute little Yorkie puppy who may excitedly dash out of the office door when you go to get coffee in the morning. I wondered if I should let him go or coax him back inside and didn't especially like being put in the position of wrangling a puppy who needed to piddle. All in all, we had a good stay.

Snowmobiling Fun in Lake City
The room was fine to be sure. We were snowmobiling so we had two pickups with trailers. Parking for those was tight so I would keep that in mind if you are traveling with a trailer. They do have spaces for shorter trailers, just not for a car-hauler size of trailer. The facility was in very good shape with new asphalt. Excellent highway access.

Run, don't walk
Owner is rude and rooms did not warm up quickly, rooms were kept at low temp and took 2 hours to warm up (yes it was cold at -18F, but walking into a room at about 50 still isn't ok). Owner initially told me I did not have a reservation. Highly suggest going elsewhere. Walls are VERY thin!

Terrible Motel
Tried to check in and note on door said they would be back at 7:00 pm (four hours after allowed check in time.) Went back later, checked in and was told how to turn up the heat. Got back to our room at 11 pm and it was below 50 degrees. Had to bang on the office door to get the manager. He came to our room and pointed out that the heat was coming from two small baseboard heaters. He admitted he forgot to turn them on earlier but was disgusted with us for not turning them on when we checked in earlier. The next day they didn't clean our room or give us fresh towels. We had to leave a day early to beat a big winter storm and they refused to refund us the one night. Yes, their policy states 48 hr cancellation notice but after everything else this was the icing on the cake. Hotels.com let them know we were leaving early so when I went to check out there was another note saying they were out until 12:20. Very rude and customer service is non existent.

Tv and ceiling fan did not work. Did not call about it as I was tired and didn't want to mess with it. Also got charged more than on the website.
