“A good and clean hotel like 40 minutes outside downtown D.C. If you want a fairly priced real hotel close to D.C this is a really good choice. Had the unfortune to be wakened by the fire alarm at 6 am, but at least I got a head start on the morning traffic. The breakfast is not very good, but American standard. But, would absolutely recommend. ”

“Several issues made this a disappointing experience. The bathroom exhaust fan was not functioning, making the bathroom stuffy and unusable. More concerning, guests were openly smoking marijuana at the main entrance, which was unpleasant and inappropriate. We were initially assigned a room on the 3rd floor, but a group of young men were loitering in the corridor, whispering comments like "a family is here" when they saw us — which felt uncomfortable and unsafe. “Breakfast was free and tasty. Staff was friendly. There is parking for 10.00 a day but it is limited. Nice room. Had a pool and gym but did not use either. The hotel is close to Franconia station to hop on the Metro. Very convenient.”

“A good hotel. What makes it not get the highest rating is the breakfast, especially on the weekend. They basically didn't refill anything, even though there was 45 minutes left before closing. Eating only pancakes and syrup might be something you do as a child but not as an adult. Good service at the reception, clean rooms, good coffee in the lobby, too bad the breakfast didn't work, maybe it was a one-off.”

“No coffee in the AM during breakfast. Could not grab a yogurt cup to go. That institutional yogurt dispenser was very unappealing. I don’t think it would kill you to have a brand name single serve yogurt available on ice. I ended up going to the local Starbucks to get a decent cup of coffee and a yogurt that I could eat while on the road.”

“Terrible staff, rude and slow as well as dismissive like I was dumb. Room keys for both rooms kept losing their reading so had to go up to the office multiple times to get them fixed. Rooms were absolutely DISGUSTING. Water damage everywhere, moldy areas, terrible bed that causes back and neck pains, there was feces stains in the toilet, water leaking from the toilet, yellow stains all over the tub and walls of the bathroom, most of the outlets didn’t work, wasps inside the room, doors don’t...
