The property was just as listed, maybe even better. The house was clean and everything we needed was provided. The grandkids loved the pool and the patio area. The view of the lake was beautiful and an easy stroll to the bank. The hosts were so gracious and friendly. I would definitely book this property again.

This house was perfect for our buddies golf trip! The access to a dock and the lake was a real bonus. We brought a boat and cruised every evening after finishing at the course.

The property was very clean upon arrival, inside and outside. There was hand soap, dish soap, laundry pods, etc already there for us to use and plenty of towels ! There was plenty of space for our family of 14 (6 kids / 8 adults). The kids were a little bummed that the waterfall was not working while we were there but they enjoyed the pool, which was also clean. If you pull a boat on a trailer, you have to put the boat in the water in a different spot (Guntersville Municipal Park boat ramp is super close). GPS will bring you to the top of hill, past the house. Make sure to turn left at the sign that has the addresses on it (about 1/4 mile back from the top of the hill). You can get a boat trailer down the driveway and manually turned around - it’s a long driveway.

We enjoyed our family vacation at Guntersville lake, especially with having a house with a pool and boathouse (it is a rather steep walk to the dock). We spent everyday on the rented pontoon boat and Sam was very helpful giving us information concerning the boat & the lake. Some of the furnishings in the house and patio are rather worn and there were only 4 drinking glasses & 3 mugs for the 8 people we had in the house (I would suggest bringing disposable cups). Also the main floor bedroom had hair in the shower drain, a lightbulb burnt out and no batteries in the remote control. But none of this kept us from having a great time.

Overall a good stay. We were not prepared for how much of a hill it would be to the boat dock everyday. The owner was very attentive to our needs, but was at the property every day. Our kids had to wait to get in the pool a couple times because the owner was doing something to it. It was overall clean and overall a nice house, but it could use some up keep work. The tiles around the pool were loose, etc. we were allowed to check in early which we loved. Overall a good stay, but would likely not stay again due to the steep incline of walking from the house to the boat house multiple times a day.

Wonderful vacation at the lake! Have been renting houses on Guntersville Lake for several years and this is the absolute best! The price is excellent, I have paid much more for less impressive rentals. The host is a great guy too! Sam told us about a great fishing spot which produced several large bass. I highly recommend this rental and plan to stay again next June!
