“Booking through Expedia said “River view”; however given a room “On the River”. Best to call the lodge to book in order to be clear on the room you want. A little extra cleaning can go a long way in the pool and cabins, but they just opened the week we went so I feel it probably will improve throughout the year. The staff (especially Sharon at the front desk), dinner menu and things to do in the area made it a 5/5. ”

“Nice area. Pet friendly, which is great. The cottages are spacious but dated. Some of the cottages and similiar to a duplex, with another guest staying on the other side of the wall. Ours was like this and our neighbors were a bit noisy until 11-1130pm. We stayed here in October so cannot comment on the pool.”

“Beautiful location. Clean, well equipped cabins. Remote, but close enough to reach town. Would definitely make a point to stay here again if in the area.”

“Jättefräscht hotell i liten stad. Vi stannade till här påväg upp mot Cape Breton. Hotellet var toppen men Antigonish var inte jätteimponerande. Men hotellet var verkligen värt ett besök! Rekommenderas!”

“The Antigonish Evergreen Inn was easily the best stay I've had at hotel in a long time. It's a pleasant spot on the outskirts of the town overlooking some scenic hills and fields, and the room I stayed in was both cozy and comfortable. Not only that, the staff was extremely helpful, giving me a complimentary shaving kit, toothbrush, and toothpaste when I forgot to pack mine, and the exceedingly patient owner even entertained my request to show me how to close my Venetian blinds the right way!...

“One of the best places durung our trip to nova scotia. Very good value for money. Really nice staff. Comfortable beds and several soft pillows. Noisy AC but that seems to be normal in Canada. We had read some bad reviews but couldnt see any problems. ”

“The room and bathroom were very clean and good sized. Breakfast was excellent , plentiful, and made to order from the choices on the menu, versus the more common breakfast buffet. The hallway from the motel rooms in back to the front lobby was quite unappealing, so we walked outside to get to the restaurant and lobby after that first mistake. The outside of the motel was a bit rundown looking, so we were pleasantly surprised that the rooms and restaurant were good looking inside.”

“Easy access fro hwy, lobby and receptionist desk welcoming. Rooms spacious and clean. Sports channels available for Stanley cup finals. Breakfast . Nice variety. Food was hot, and replenished as needed. Definitely stay at Microtel hotels in the future. Ample parking.”
