âBharat and Anne are very welcoming. They keep Torlands in tip-top condition. It is immaculately clean, and they will tidy your room for you during your stay if you wish. The breakfast is lovely, and there are lots of little things that make you feel welcome or are thoughtful, such as snacks on the tea tray and a torch by the bed. The only downside for me was that the mattress was a little too soft for my back, but others may prefer this, so I would recommend the place.â
âBeautiful location. Hosts were gracious and shared helpful information about local attractions as well as fascinating perspective on local culture, language and history which was much appreciated by these first time visitors from the USA.â
âSuper accommodation. The staff are ultra attentive and the food is first class. Beautiful part of the world to stay in but maybe a little remote for some. Only slight drawback was we were housed in the ground floor room of the boathouse and the noise of people walking around in the room above is very loud. If they got up in the night it wakes you up.â
âLoved our stay , I struggle with eating out because I am free from dairy and gluten, but the staff were very kind and made sure I had a meal made which I could eat. Very polite young staff members too. 5 star â. â

âMaria, who is front of house, was so welcoming and later, in the dining room she tirelessly looked after us and all the other guests. The food was fantastic and I understand her husband is head chef, Joseph Colman. The rooms were attractive and very comfortable with lovely bathrooms. I would certainly recommend this as a wonderful getaway. â
âIt was a lovely stay, just one night before a day at bike park wales.
I was told to leave the bike in the hall way and it was fine there.
Parking was tight with a bike rack on so i dropped it to get the car over as far as i could.
The room was beautifully decorated, bed comfy, shower amazing and the whole place was quiet. â

"As a couple you should avoid Fridays and Saturdays. The noice level in the restaurant was more then average as there was many male golfers in the room. Loud and no respect for others. Nice staff, Big gym and pool but over crowded. Unfortunately the golf course was in worst condition with brown fairways and green looking like they did a paintover with green colour. Staying Sunday to Monday was much calmer and enjoyable. "
