Minniborgir Cottages & RestaurantSelfoss
8.8 av 10, Utmärkt, (480 recensioner)
“All the rooms were clean. The shower head in the toilet didn't work well. No shower soap or shower gel. All the wood screen curtains in living room did not work. We didn't cook so didn't know if the stove or microwave working or not. Overall it was okay with the price that we paid for.”

“Wonderful, modern cabin centrally located on the Golden Circle. Great views of the lake as well! This cabin is very well-appointed, and the hot tub and sauna were a nice bonus after long days in the cold rain. The beds were very comfortable. The host was very communicative and the instructions were easy to follow and accurate. We had a great stay and highly recommend!”

“I just gave the stars on the look of this place. Unfortunately we were not able to stay the night we had booked this place for. We were stuck on the highway for the whole night because of a bad accident. By the time it cleared it was time to reach our next tour booking of Glacier hike. I’m still waiting if I would get some kind of compensation”

“We had a fantastic time during our stay. Me and my partner and our two college-aged kids had plenty of room in this small house. we enjoyed the bbq, eating on the deck and the hot tub. we cooked each night and there was adequate cookware. The host was very friendly and helpful and gave us recommendations to see the area. Perfect spot to tour the Golden Circle and a short drive to Selfoss. Note that the local restaurant, on site, is open limited days--we were planning on eating there but it was...

“The property itself is wonderful and the home is very clean, current, and amenable. Being a new property, there are many positives to the home and property. Unfortunately, being a new property also means some issues with management need to be worked through. There’s always someone “available” via the app… but that representative cannot fix anything or do anything to address issues. When we checked in, the master bedroom has been locked from the inside somehow… then the water quit working...

“We were a retired sibling group of eight. We chose this house and cabins for its idyllic setting and it was a wonderful place to relax after a busy schedule. The cabins were much nicer than I expected. They are close to the house and have plenty of outlets. They could have used blackout curtains as our stay was in June. The master bedroom was great. I would say the 2 upstairs bedrooms are more suitable for kids. They really feel like being in a somewhat unfinished attic. A roof window would be a...
