“This was a beautiful property. Everything was clean, updated, and easy to find. The host left a very helpful instructional booklet describing how to use all of the amenities, and even instructions on how to best prepare the food. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we would love to stay here again!!”

“Fukuzumiro var en fantastisk upplevelse; den fina gamla byggnaden, vår vänliga och charmiga lilla nakai-san (rumsservice), den underbara maten, det fina rummet med utsikt över floden. Det enda som inte var så bra var att det ena badet (stenbadet, som för övrigt hade mått bra av litet renovering) hade så hett vatten att bara en av oss klarade att kliva i. “Went here 2017 and fell in love. This time it seems like this hidden gem is no longer hidden, since there were a lot of foreign tourists. But that seems to have given an extra boost! It seems like many aspects has improved, like another outdoor onsen on floor 5 that is fantastic, a small souvenir shop as well as swapping to a buffet style breakfast.

“A nice ryokan with superfriendly staff. Beautiful private onsens and fine dinner in the afternoon. The rooms was old and worn out but very big. I missed some type of shop for late night snacks or something, but overall a very great experience. Will definitely come back to this place.”
“My partner and I are experienced travelers, but unfortunately, we found this hotel to be quite disappointing considering its price. Here’s why:
• Our room wasn’t cleaned when we returned at 5 pm. Surprisingly, the reception staff claimed that we had declined cleaning for environmental reasons, even though no one asked us during check-in. We had to request them to at least clean the garbage, change the towels and give us two bottles of water (seems like greenwashing).
