"The staff were very nice. Bushi-san was busy on my day of arrival (they have a lot of activities in Kamakura), but they left me a welcome packet with all the information. I met Bushi-san the morning after for breakfast. I also got to meet Yoko-san. She was very kind.
The guesthouse is small, and the building is old and charming. I slept on a futon in a room equipped with tatamimats and traditional screen doors. It was amazing to sleep in a traditional room. The futon is perhaps on the thinner side, but they had more than one so you could perhaps stack them.
The guesthouse is kept clean (and has a lot of interesting stuff to look at!), but you can see that is has some wear and tear. If you're looking for a super shiny modern place to stay, this is not for you.
It's close to the Kamakura station and to the sea. Wadenya station is even closer than Kamakura station, and from there you can take a direct train to Enoshima."
