“Very clean and spacious room. A traditional Japanese feel to it! The amenities were great. They had most things you might need, including Yukatas. This together with the onsen bath made this a very relaxing stay. Finally, the staff was lovely and very helpful!”

“Great location and size”

“Great location. Nice place. Close to train and towns”

“amazing scenary, service and just amazing.”

“The house was difficult to find and, as mentioned, had a steep hill to walk down. When we entered, it smelled strongly of gas as there were 3 gasoline jars directly inside the door. The smell gave all four of us a headache. Also, it was VERY cold, due to missing windows. The heaters were set at max and we were still very cold. Lastly, the floors are not stable. In the dining room, it felt like we were walking on cardboard, as the floor flexed and moved when we walked. ”

“This property is a private appatment, which is fairly obvious when booking. What is not obvious was that it is a very steep climb in the 1km walk from the railway station. The "How to get there" Info made available after booking was very detailed but should include "if you have heavey luggage, take a taxi!".”

“Really lovely little hotel right by the station. Extremely convenient! Lovely staff and clean cosy rooms”

“Old and small property . Quite far from train station. At least 10-15 mns walk .”

“Great choice for my husband, parents and I!”

“Great staff, nice view, clean room and nice onsen”

“This is our most memorable stay in Japan. We had an exceptional room with private rooftop onsen and incredible views. The staff and management were especially helpful and more importantly they were sincere. Their recommendations were fantastic. Manazuru is a lovely, manageable, not over saturated town with limited tourist influence and it might be hard to find a better place to stay than this one. It can be viewed as expensive but in Japan you pay for what you get and the value was fantastic. ...

“We lived our stay at SUUIUN. The staff was helpful, kind and cheerful. Our room was wonder and comfortable with beautiful bathroom and onsen. The outdoor public onsens were lovely. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner options and food was fresh and interesting. Nice little snacks available for free. Once we got to Gora station it was either a 5 minute walk uphill or free shuttle from sister hotel diagonally from station. Very easy pick up and drop off. Great location to walk to sites. We loved...

“Loved loved loved! Wished I had booked this for the entire trip and probably will book again if I return. The home was thoughtfully curated and exactly as pictured. Very scenic drive and quiet neighborhood. Instructions were straightforward with check-in/route/guidelines and host was very responsive. Note: if you are using public transport and have more than a back pack, I suggest catching a ride from the drop off point to the home.”
