âA modern hotel with nice rooms and comfortable beds. The hotel is located in the very centre of Schaffhausen and has good breakfast. The only negative was that the room smelled a bit moldy and when I looked into this I found that there was no ventilation at all- only by opening the windows. The service was nice and there is a small (very small) gym. It was easy to park the car just next to the hotel.â

âWe only spent the one night here but this would be perfect place for a longer stay. It has everything you you want. Donât get me wrong itâs still good for a single nights stay. It is spacious, very comfortable furnishings and within walking distance of restaurants, shops and The Falls. We were greeted by the owner on arrival who was full of local information and willingness to help. We would definitely stay here again. â

"Ett för flott hotell i min smak, fÄr kÀnslan av att personalen ler ett tillgjort leende och vÀrderar en om man passar in. Men annars ett fint hotell, enda klagomÄlet Àr att kuddarna var alldeles för tjocka, fick ont i nacken."
"This hotel can unfortunately not be recommended. The hotel itself was acceptable - nothing special but nothing bad either.
The service level is another matter. First of all, be aware that (I have never experienced such a thing before from an airport hotel) the hotel charges you roughly 10 CHF for a return transfer to the airport. This was not advertised very well and when I told them upon check-in that this is very unusual one of the employees starting arguing strongly that this is completely normal as they use a third party vendor for the service - it is not and the other hotels I have used in Kloten does not.
Secondly, the vendor in question did not allow me the transfer back to the airport the following morning as I had booked (and paid) for a wrong time slot - the buss was empty let me tell you - but he rather choose to create a completely unnecessary heated situation.
Thirdly, as I ventured back into the hotel to voice my displeasure, the hotel staff took zero responsibility for their vendor - completely tone deaf.
Long story short, hotel is acceptable, service is NOT, I cannot recommend staying here when there are several other good alternatives."
