“Greatly aging facility. Price was great, but room was not. Fairly clean in main area, but bathroom was not. Decided to forego the restaurant—in general the area was run down enough that we began to not trust the cleanliness.”

“Front desk staff was very helpful, amenities were as advertised. Room was clean and we had a good nights sleep.”

“The outside of the property needs some improvements and sprucing up. The carpet in the room was extremely dirty, turned our feet black. The beds are ok, but not very comfortable. The metal bed frame made loud noise when turning over in the beds. The mattress could defiantly use an upgrade. The reclining chair in the room had a large paint stain and needs cleaned or replaced. And the arm of it was kind of broken. The table between the beds was sticky. The bathtub faucet leaks, doesn't shut off...

“The ac filter needed cleaned badly so we pulled it out so the ac would work better. The entire unit needed cleaned as it was keaving a musty smell in the room. ”

“It was discouraging that there was so much rust and just shoddy looking fixtures in bathroom and the upholstery on table chairs was cracked and broken in places with stuffing showing. Also, while it was fine not to have fresh linens & towels each day, we did not understand why the bed was not made. This was a very basic room for shelter that thankfully was clean, but was shabby and not welcoming, I’m sorry to say.”

“Denny was a wonderful host! I stayed on the third floor in the Derby Room. It was perfectly charming! Everthing I needed for a solo one night getaway. Perfectly located to enjoy a leisurely walk around downtdown Maysville. Fantastic eateries and pubs just footsteps away from the front door. Denny was very knowledgeable about the local fare and offered many suggestions.The next time I need to take a step back in time and enjoy the company of the lovely people of Maysville, I will definitely book...

“Stayed for eight nights and there were no bagels after four days in. The food attendant did feel free to hang around the clerk at the front desk though. The coffee was weak and flavorless. Everything seems worn and in need of repair or refreshing. Tiles in the toilet/shower area were loose. It felt as if I would step wrongly and dislodge them. The front desk clerks were indifferent. I felt lectured.”

“The television did not work on arrival, and it took the staff person 3 hours to come fix it. The was no microwave in the room, no coffee pot, and there was no breakfast or coffee in the lobby in the morning at 7:30 am when we left. Our key card quit working and I had to make 3 trips to the office and it still never worked again. The staff person was terribly unhelpful! I had to wait outside my room for a 1/2 hour because my husband was in the shower and couldn’t hear me knocking over the fan in...
