âThis hotel works for a nights stay, but not much more. Itâs close to the beach, but the beach is not very nice.
Overall pretty clean, though there was a cockroach in the window at arrival.
The guy at the front desk wasnât too thrilled when I arrived at 10.30 pm, but maybe he had a bad day, or I looked shady. â
âThe property is a lovely home from the late 1800's and has been updated without losing the charm of its era. Great staff and easy access make this a perfect place to get away.â
âVery nice and clean hotel. Room was spacious and comfortable. We didnât use the pool, gym, or got breakfast, but they all seemed great. Would definitely stay again if in the area.â
âTraveled with two small kids. The best location to stay if your visiting Jamestown, Yorktown and Colonial Williamsburg. Easy access to higway. Gas station and krogers within the walking distance, as well as other shops/restaurants. Hotel & room are clean, breakfast is excellent. 10/10â
âEverything was great except one incident and not that big a deal We had went to the bar to get an advertised drink (literally advertised everywhere) and the girl was out of all the ingredients which seemed strange. â
âThe customer service was outstanding at this property. I have no idea how we received VIP status, unless Expedia arranged this, but my kids and I were given the 5 star treatment, including vouchers to use in the restaurant. I highly recommend this property to anyone staying in the area.â
âJust wanted to say that the Holiday Inn in New Port News was exceptional. You couldnât ask for more. The hotel receptionist (Beccy) was wonderful, professional and knowledgeable about everything. A my visit when visiting New Port News.â
