The bed was clean, had a refrigerator and ceiling fan, but no coffee pot. The bathroom and shower are communal so be aware there is not a bathroom in each “cabin,” nor can you lock your door from the inside. Thus “resort” is misleading. “From the outside this place looked like it was under construction or closed. There were mattresses stacked on a trailer and a few people milling around in the parking lot that gave it the appearance of an abandoned property. I am in the process of requesting a refund because I did not feel safe staying there and chose to go somewhere more appealing and safe looking.”

“We stayed in the Loom House, not until we arrived did we know we were to occupy the oldest habitable log home in NC. While the bed was comfortable, the small fridge was iced up and smelled of old food. There was no TV. There were nail heads sticking up out of the floor upstairs and the floor creaked loudly every time we got out of bed to walk to the bathroom. “Pool was under construction but the property had been update and wa in a great location. Peaceful and quiet. The best part was the restaurant onsite and the weather. Enjoyed our stay and will recommend to friends and family.”
