The Neighborhood:

Hamurana is one of Rotorua's most peaceful lakeside communities, on the northern shore of Lake Rotorua - all lush farmland, native birdlife and natural beauty. A short walk takes you to the lake and the lovely Hamurana Lake Walkway, and the Hamurana Springs Nature Reserve, with its crystal-clear waters and towering redwoods, is just down the road. Golfers will love the Hamurana Golf Club directly across the road. It's a genuine country escape, yet Skyline's gondola and luge, Zorb and Canopy Tours are only about fifteen minutes away, and central Rotorua - with its cafes, restaurants and geothermal attractions - is a 20-minute drive around the lake.



Getting Around:

A car is recommended out here to make the most of your stay. Skyline, Zorb and Canopy Tours are around fifteen minutes away, Rotorua Airport about sixteen, and central Rotorua, the lakefront and the hot pools at Polynesian Spa and Wai Ariki Spa roughly twenty minutes around the lake, with the Redwoods forest about twenty-five. There's ample on-site parking, and easy self check-in.



Other Things to Note:

WIFI runs at around 28 Mbps. This is a peaceful rural property surrounded by farmland - please respect the animals and the quiet country setting.
