“My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon for a whole week. It is such a peaceful environment, and is very close to the beaches. It is in a more rural area of the island, so you can see the stars super clearly at night. Some people complained of the chickens making too much noise, but we didn’t find that to be a problem. The yard is super private, and you’re about 98% out of view of your neighbors. ”

“This property is located in the Hanalei Colony Resort and is classified by the resort as a partial ocean view. Other than onsite free parking, no amenities such as the shuttle are available gratis. The pictures in the listing are accurate. Check in was easy.”

“Good location to be central to Kauai and airport access. Can drive up north or south easily. The rooms were clean but dated. The same with the bathrooms. We came when they were doing updates( may 2026)so areas were closed off to us that would have been nice to utilize when we were there. The pool areas had closures and the gym had an odor, maybe from the construction. Unknown and no AC. Spa was out of the way to try and use due to construction so it wasn’t inviting to try and book. “One night stay at this place for our backpacking trip. Love the location and cleanliness. Didn’t have much daylight left by the time we settle down for the night. Took a little stroll to take a glimpse of what’s left of the sunset. It sure was beautiful. ”
