Cozy apartment (62 m²) in a historic cultural landmark—above the violin museum

  • Enjoy the unique atmosphere of the II. Burgmannshof in Hardegsen! This small vacation rental (1 bedroom) will be available, freshly renovated, starting in October 2025.

    The interior features a tasteful combination of vintage and modern furniture, all in a style that complements the ambiance of this magnificent 700-year-old building. It also features hardwood floors and a modern country-style kitchen.

    We’re happy to provide towels and bed linens. This service costs €15 per person per stay. If you choose to use this service, please pay the amount in cash, via PayPal, or by real-time bank transfer upon arrival. If you prefer to bring your own towels and bed linens, this fee will of course not apply.
    The nearby Solling, a picturesque low mountain range, and the nearby Weser Valley offer pure recreational enjoyment. In Hardegsen itself, you’ll find everything you need for daily life, as well as restaurants; the beautiful park surrounding Hardeg Castle, located right next door, is perfect for long walks; and Göttingen, just a 20-minute drive away, is a highly attractive city with all the amenities you could want within easy reach.

    Hardegsen has a train station; regional trains depart from nearby Northeim every 60 to approximately 90 minutes. The nearest ICE station is in Göttingen, about a 20-minute drive away.

    Musicians are especially welcome here. In the ground-floor hall, you can practice with virtually no time restrictions, and you’re more than welcome to use the Bechstein grand piano. Music stands, desk lamps, and other amenities are provided. For pianists and ensembles, it’s an oasis of peace and inspiration for intensive rehearsals and concert preparations. Concerts to conclude a rehearsal period are also a possibility. Of course, you’re also welcome to practice to your heart’s content in the apartment’s rooms; there are no immediate neighbors, as the house stands alone. We, the landlords, are musicians ourselves and understand the immense value of an intensive rehearsal period in a suitable environment.
