“This is a family oriented property that is well maintained. I visit Decatur often but had never stayed at Homewood Suites. The only small complaint I have is the couch fabric was pretty dirty. Other than that, I highly recommend the property and would stay there again.”

“The hotel is nice enough. The room I had was nice, other than the ant colony by bathtub in the floor, and I did not have house keeping while I was there. Also, even thou I paid for breakfast with my reservation thru Expedia they apparently had no record and charged me anyways, even after I showed them my itinerary and stated they couldn't do anything about it till Monday.”

“I was visiting for a graduation. We booked two rooms two months in advance. We had to wait over an hour for rooms to be ready. This was very inconvenient since we’d been on the road for almost 4 hrs & just wanted to sit down. The lady at front desk was nice & welcoming though.”

“Musty smell throughout. The have fans blowing in the hallway with air freshener behind them. Breakfast is not good. Biscuits and water gravy. Waffles tasted sour. They have cereal of course Room is musty and mold on walls and ceiling in bathroom. Towels always felt damp. Ac works well but it blows musty air . Shower head comes out of wall at shoulder blade height. Does get hot however. Beds are ok. TV is very small and very limited analog channels. Very fuzzy picture. ...

“Always room for improvement. The room was clean and spacious. Everything was in good working order. Good deal for the money.”

“Room was fine until it rained and my window started not just leaking but water was pouring into the room. Staff moved me into a different room that had a similar problem as the first. Floor by the AC unit was damp the entire stay. No mention of any accommodation for getting moved into a “downgraded” room. Would only plan on staying here if the weather is going to be clear with no possibility of rain at all. Other than that, staff was nice and breakfast wasn’t bad.”

“My room temperature was ok. Could not get it to a cooler temperature despite resetting it 2 different times throughout the night. I did not sleep well because I could not get cool. The breakfast left a little to be desired. There were biscuits but no gravy. All of the juices were watered down and the cream cheese for the bagels was chunky. So I had toast with peanut butter because the only jelly available was grape or apple.”

“Shower light didn't work, bathroom exhaust makes a lot of noise, one mattress the bed sunk in when sitting or laying on it, tv remote on/off button or volume buttons didn't work. Had to adjust volume or on/off on the tv itself, carpet by the bed was sticky so bare feet not recommended, ice machine on our floor did not work, hot tub was not functioning and was empty. When I booked it indicated there was a hot tub. Pool was available and water nice and warm, but unfortunately, the night we were...

“The property appeared fairly clean. However, they need to use bleach in the bathroom for toilet and bathtub. There were marks/grime stains in the bathtub where I could clearly see old scum that bleach would remove. Under the inside lip of the toilet was a lot of mold, which tells me they didn't scrub under it with bleach product. The furniture is in major need of replacement (couch, chair and desk chair). The refrigerator didn't work at all. It only takes a small temperature probe to check...
