âIf you have the opportunity to visit Stellenbosch, Asara is a must! Absolutely wonderful location, service food and wine of world class! I want to go back as soon as I can!!!â
âThis place is a favorite of ours, and we keep on returning. You are well taken care of by the staff and owners, the grounds are very beautiful and the it is a quiet oasis.
It is easy to get an uber to explore some of the stunning restaurants and vineyards close by. If you want to stay at the hotel all day, they offer great food as well upon requsestâ

âLovely high spec cottage. Clean and new interiors. A romantic stay for couples but we had a three year old! Peaceful and quiet location. A short drive to shops and not too far to some good vineyards. Breakfast was quite nice but would be good to have a helpful option. My daughter loved the trampoline and small playground. Felt like a safe location. Iâd recommend taking the hotel up on their offer of starting the hot tub for arrival as I couldnât manage it!â

âWe are experienced travelers and this was one of, if not the best hotel experience we have had. What set the stay apart was the hospitality and friendly atmosphere. We got advice on wineries, help with restaurant bookings and bookings/discounts on other activities. The location was perfect with very good restaurants within 10 minutes walking distance and several wineries we know of within a 10 km radius. We will recommend the hotel to all our friends.â

âThe breakfast was the best I had in my life. Very kind service, the beds were a bit too hard for my taste. It would be nice to be able to get a softer mattress. If we are going to stay in Stellenbosch again, we will definitely choose to stay here. â
âI am a repeat visitor to Pontac. A lovely place to spend time at, especially outside on the stoep. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The rooms are great, wonderful views of the mountains surrounding Paarl. Definite value for money. The only area for improvement would be breakfast, it is okay, but could use some attention.â
