Vermont life at Hill Top Gardens

  • Three story Vermont Homestead with five bedrooms exquisitely designed with an open floor concept. Large chef kitchen and a banquet dining room for groups who enjoy good food. You can also enjoy the sunset on the large deck surrounded by flower gardens or get up early and view the sunrise on the front porch overlooking the valley and Ascutney Mountain. Every season has its beauty on this property, but the view and foliage in the fall is spectacular. In the evenings you may decide to retreat to the hidden, upper stone patio surrounded by fragrant landscape. This property also offers a sugar house and sugaring in the winter and spring. If the time is right, you may also be able to enjoy our blueberry, pear or apple season. The homestead sits on the very top of 10 acres of private land with only 10 minutes to surrounding villages like Woodstock and Quechee and only 35 minutes from Killington. During the month of March, April, and May this property may be available for a discounted, monthly fee. For winter travelers, a 4-weel-drive vehicle is highly recommended.

Wonderful place to stay! We had a great time. Gorgeous well-maintained property. We stayed here with a family of 9 ranging in ages from 15 to 82 years old. The beds were comfortable, the house is clean and charming. The host is kind and accommodating. And the view from the front patio is absolutely stunning.

Our family loved the house and property. Sunsets from the porch facing south toward Mt. Ascutney, many options to sit outside covered and uncovered, and a comfortable and clean home - not just a house. Well equipped for all our needs. While the location feels like the countryside, it is close to lots of things, including small cities and towns, recreation, and historic sites. Host was also super nice even though we didn’t need or want anything during our stay.

Picture Perfect Vermont Home

Spacious house perfect for large groups. It has everything and more you could need. Gorgeous views and the grounds were beautiful! Perfect place for quiet mornings of coffee on the porch watching the sun rise. Fall foliage was spectacular.

Fantastic Farmhouse Stay

Everything was great with this house. Had plenty of kitchenware and very well organized, provided certain things that everyone needs when they travel. It's also a beautiful and peaceful location. The hosts were also easy to get in touch with and responded quickly to communications. Would recommend this house to everyone.

Hartland VT Family Visit

Very clean and well designed for a group! Lovely indoor and outdoor areas for hanging out. Beautiful views and gardens. Great kitchen. Hosts are lovely and helpful. Easy to reach. Location is rural, but just a few short miles from Woodstock, Quechee, and more. Highly recommended.

Our experience was outstanding in every regard. Accommodations were spacious and beautifully appointed. All essentials (towels etc) were in abundant supply. Our hostess was most pleasant and inquired periodically with us to make sure our needs were being met and also provided information on interesting activities in the area. One cannot leave Hilltop gardens without commenting on the view. The location of the house with its floral gardens sits upon a hillside with a spectacular vista of the Vermont countryside.I would heartily recommend Brianna’s lovely home to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation experience.Cam

Wonderful New England Thanksgiving

This is the perfect house for a family. Plenty of space. Every amenity. Clean and comfortable. We did all of our cooking at the house and the Kitchen was perfect for cooks. Great range, 30" double ovens, all of the cooking gear you need. We would highly recommend this house for a family!

Serene and Luxurious Farmhouse

This home is lovely. Very well equipped and spacious. The furnishings are attractive and welcoming. Open floor plan and yet several intimate nooks. Several large decking areas with comfortable outdoor furniture. The view is spectacular. The property is extremely private. The home and property were cllean and well maintained.

Wonderful stay!

We absolutely loved staying at this property and Brianna was an incredible host. We were forced to leave for our vacation early due to an impending hurricane and Brianna was more than accommodating! She went above and beyond and we are so appreciative! Everything was picture perfect and the house was fully equipped. Great location for exploring the fall foliage! Would highly recommend! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Quiet and Serene

When we arrived, we were stunned at how beautiful the house is and you can tell how much love Briana has put into her home. The listing did not do the location justice. We had everything we needed and we're so comfortable during our stay. We didn't want to leave. Our host was communicative and helpful. The house was clean, spacious, and had so many breath taking views. I hope we can return one day.
