Lovely Peacful Retreat
We came as a family for Mother’s Day and for Decoration Day. The home is a lovely family retreat in a quiet peaceful neighborhood with an expansive back yard and plenty of room for us to be comfortable. The upstairs was not noticeable from downstairs. Everything was updated. And we were all at ease. Quick trip to downtown. Thanks

Clean and Cozy
What a delightful little cottage! My first impression was that the property was safe and well-lit. I arrived after dark, and had no trouble locating the property, or the lock box with the key. Communication was clear, and the hosts responded promptly to any questions I had. There was plenty of room for myself and my co-worker to stay, and we each had our own cozy spaces in the house. I’ll definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Wedding Getaway
This property was just as described! We enjoyed our short trip to Hartselle and can’t wait to make it back to visit family and re visit this property. Great Place to Stage our northern Alabama visit

Annex to family visit
Our extended family has grown to the point that we needed additional space and this home was a great solution for us! Only a couple of miles from family, centrally located in town and everything we needed! We were able to keep up with our laundry and enjoy a peaceful rest each night in comfortable beds. For us, it was perfect!

Wonderful Experience
The owners were super easy to work with, and very helpful. Our guest preacher that stayed there said it was the nicest place they have stayed in. Since they travel a lot, that is saying something!

So beautifully finished and furnished inside that you feel like you are at home with your first entry into the Hartselle Guest House. The location close to the historic downtown is delightful. Fast and friendly communication with our hosts via VRBO mail too. A much loved stay!

Cozy Home
Mary and Mike's home was cozy and comfy. The home was spotless and had such character. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the front porch swing listening to the trains go by. We hope to be back again next year for The Depot Days festival!

Definitely would stay here again!
We stayed at this quaint cute house for 5 nights! Owner was very communicative, and the house was stocked! We had a wonderful stay. My son just moved here, and we will book here again if it is available when we visit.

Better than a hotel.
We came to Hartselle Alabama for a fundraiser. It was called the taste of Africa it benefits, a children’s home in Liberia Africa. The event was held at the venue just three minutes away. The house was easy to find very clean and comfortable for my family we plan on booking it again next year if available.

The Hartselle Guest House is simply wonderful! My parents loved it from the moment they arrived. Everything was beautifully appointed and so clean! This property was fabulous! It is a quaint southern charm home, clean, well stocked and convenient.
Renting his property through VRBO was easy. Communication with the host was straight forward and easy. The property is lovely and well stocked. It was very conveniently located. We had family in town and needed a place to stay for a few nights, but then we did not want to leave! Thank you so much.

Concert at a Local Church
Three bands were at a local church and needed a place to stay. We all packed in and enjoyed the atmosphere the place provided. While we didn't enjoy it long, we had a great time. The house is absolutely beautiful and easy walking distance to downtown Hartselle. We Love this City and all it has to offer.

Family Reunion
We hosted family from Japan and England at this lovely house. It’s beautiful and comfortable and sparkling clean and we had everything we needed. Mary was so thoughtful and made sure we were safe and comfortable as we experienced some severe weather! I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

Wonderful home!
This was one of the best home away from home we have rented through the years the owners are awesome and considerate and I will definitely rent again I appreciate so much the hospitality and all the small things that you would need when you were away from home.. A great experience
The hosts were great people. Great communicators. When we needed something, they were right on it. Plenty of towels and wash clothes (a big deal to us). We would stay with them again and would recommend this listing to anyone wanting to stay near Hartselle, AL.

Very welcoming
This house is large, clean, and very homey. The owners go above and beyond with the little touches to make you feel welcome. Beds were comfortable, decor was perfect (they are obviously very proud of Hartselle), location was ideal for us.

The only suggestion I can give is lower the microwave. It is way too high. And maybe a paring knife.
