Country House by the lake

The private country house is located just by a lake and with beautiful forest surroundings. 5 well sized bedrooms and large social areas spread over 2 floors and 2 cousy guest houses just by the main house. Spacious outside porch including a generous lounge area, large dining table and several sun chairs.

Enjoy a swim in the lake from your private jetty or why not try the wooden burned outside sauna and the traditional nordic hot tub with a cold shower!

History.
The house was originally built by a swedish boat captain and his wife. About 50 years later the house was redesigned and rebuilt to what it is today with a main house and 2 separate guest houses. A comfortable and well designed house with a lot of character and great amenities.

The property.
The property is private and you don´t share it with any other guests/people. It consists of the main house of +200sqm, one guest house of 25sqm and another one of 15sqm. There is a big lawn on the backside of the house where you can play football, badminton, etc. A lot of other ground to use around the house, and the forest and the lake is just around the corner. In total the property is about 5000sqm.
Driveway up to a big parking lot in front of the house, you can easily park 3-4 cars. Possibility to charge electric cars.

Main House.
Spacious social areas both on ground and first floor, perfect for a big family or a group with friends. Children have their own space downstairs watching TV or playing games.
Ground floor with open floor plan living room / TV-room and open fire with two cousy armchairs. Bathroom / spa including shower, whirlpool, sauna and toilet. 1 well sized bedroom with king size bed.
First floor with a large open floor plan living room / dining room / kitchen including another open fire with a seating area. Well equipped kithen with both refrigerator and freezer. Big hallway including another toilet. 2 well sized bedrooms with king size beds.

Guest houses.
There is one large guest house and one smaller. The larger one consists of a bedroom and a small living room with a workplace. The smaller one consists of a bedrom. Both guest houses has a queen bed.

Outdoor sauna, hot tub and cold shower.
By the small guest house there is a traditional nordic wooden burned sauna and hot tub and cold showers. Enjoy hot sauna, hot bath in the tub and a cold shower. There is nothing like watching the stars while sitting in the hot tub. Quite an experience!

Outdoor space.
A large wooden deck surrounds the main house and it consists of a lounge, deckchairs, dining table with chairs, bbq and open space overseeing the lake and the forest. Take the stairs down from the deck on the backside of the house and you have the big lawn. Perfect for sports, games or any other activity.

The lake.
About 90m from the house is the lake and the private jetty that comes with the house. Go for a swim in the fantastic clean water or why not sunbathing on the jetty.
Fishing in the lake is very good and you can catch fish like pike and perch. You will have to buy a fishing license and it is about 50kr.
Possibility to rent a rowing boat and 2 SUPs.
