Strandhotell i Hatteras Island

“My husband and I enjoyed our stay at The Inn on Pamlico Sound and would highly recommend it to visitors. We were able to quickly relax and unwind while taking in the beautiful view of the sound just outside our window. The inn features a pool, an excellent restaurant on site, a garden, a boardwalk, bikes, umbrellas, and many other amenities. Stay there and enjoy some island time!”

“We arrived around 8pm. The reception was already closed and we struggled to figure out how to get to our room. The apartment was ok. No luxury but clean and practical. The A/C unit situated in the living room struggled to cool down the bedroom at the back though. When going to bed we realized that despite the booking was made for 5 people (incl email conversations with hotel management about it) only four beds were made. No additional sheet available. “If you are looking for a posh place this is not it. It is a good basic place to stay. The room size is great and the room was clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good water pressure. We would stay there again.”

“No reception, you had to call a phone number and get a password for the digital doorlock. We had to wait 25 minutes in telephone que until answered. Then when answered they said the hotel was overbooked and our room therefore not available. They had no excuse and according to the hotel we finally managed to find with an available room on a fully booked site, they said that this hotel do so over and over again to be sure having it fully booked even with last minutes cancelled rooms.
