“Excellently managed room, secondary glazing so absolutely no noises from the road. Slept very well, but i do think a kingsize bed would fit in the room. It could be a slight squeeze, in the main, very comfortable. Shower room absolutely spotless. Breakfast was super. Nicely cooked full english as well as cereals, fruit, yoghurt etc.., not too much on the plate but enough for a full day ahead. Good selection of teas.. A real find as we enjoyed a christmas ball at Goodwood. If we come over this...

“Friendly host, warm and cozy cottage atmosphere out on the country - very private and quiet too. The room was so nicely appointed and we loved the sound of the babbling stream outside. The bathroom was large and bright and had a big bathtub. Everything was so clean and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order each day. A wonderful spot away from the madding crowds but so close to so many beautiful places. ”

Breakfast is ordered on arrival or in the evening. The cooked breakfast was delicious, extremely well cooked and served by attentive and friendly staff. “The whole building was unique. unusual but very comfortable. We could have done with another chair in the Room.....but other than that fine. 'Mine host ' was very friendly and helpful. We had a bit of banter.”
