Welcome to Three Lights Lodge on Big Round Lake

Enjoy stunning sunrises from our four-bedroom home, which sleeps 12 on pristine Big Round Lake just outside Hayward, Wi. Our home includes very reliable wi-fi, whirlpool tub and a sauna. Only a 1/4 mile from access to a boat launch, snowmobile trails and 3.5 miles from rentals for snowmobiles, ATV/UTVs, jet skis, and fishing boats. Round Lake is a 3,054 acre lake and home to bluegill, muskie, northern, walleye, bass, rainbow and brown trout.

Our four bedroom home on Big Round Lake has generous square footage for a family gathering or just a quiet weekend for two alone. An open concept main level living area with a fireplace is cozy and inviting while the walkout lower level provides an additional family room for card playing and games. The home comfortably sleeps 12 and is conveniently located 8 miles from the quaint downtown of Hayward, WI.

Two bedrooms on the main floor are furnished with king beds, one lower level bedroom boasts a king bed, bunk beds and a sleeper sofa. The second lower level bedroom includes a queen bed and full laundry facilities.

This summer you will be able to enjoy the crystal clear waters of Round Lake and a crisp sunrise out the bay window that will not disappoint as you enjoy your morning coffee and breakfast! As the sun begins set you might also catch a gorgeous moonrise shimmering over the water. When you are not on the water, Linden Road provides the perfect location to take a leisurely walk or bike ride under a tree canopy. Guests can also choose to rent or bring their own ATVs on which you can roam the greater Hayward area on the Sawyer County trail system. Mountain biking on the CAMBA (Chequamegon Area Mountain Bike Association) trails is also very popular as is floating down the Namekagon River in inflatable tubes.

As our guests, we want you to be able to jump in the car at the last minute without spending a lot of time packing and preparing for vacation, which means we will provide lots of amenities available for your use, including charging stations for electronics. We are very family friendly, with items for use such as a pack-n-play, infant bouncy chair and more… We are also equipped for an exceptional adult experience. You will find quality ceramic cookware, comfortable mattresses and pillows, and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with a view of beautiful Big Round Lake to enjoy as you sip a glass of wine or cocktail.

Our home is air conditioned and we have an 80 amp Tesla charger for Guests’ convenience. Our dock was expanded in 2019 and we remodeled our main floor full bathroom! Check it out in our Photo section. Our home is set off the recently paved Linden Road limiting the sound of traffic and giving you the comfort to your little ones aren’t getting too close to the road for comfort. We do recommend bringing water shoes for swimming close to shore. We suggest 4WD in the winter as we do have a slope to our recently re-constructed driveway.

A damage deposit is no longer collected on bookings made after July 2020. Rather a $99 fee is charged for property damage protection insurance.

Great Family Vacation Spot

Grandparents, adult children with spouses and grandchildren enjoyed this property for a beautiful week on Round Lake. This was the best equipped property we have rented in almost 40 years of visiting the WI northwoods. The home was everything the listing stated, but so much nicer than you could imagine. I would recommend this property to any size group from 2-12. There is plenty of space to hang out together. It was the perfect week for family vacation.

Beautiful and Fun Family Getaway

The rental property was just terrific! It was very clean, well maintained, and had everything that we needed to have an enjoyable weeklong stay. There were several kayaks and canoes for us to enjoy. Round Lake is such an incredibly beautiful place and the water is crystal clear. We enjoyed the water every day with swimming, boating, tubing, snorkeling, skiing, wave boarding and riding the wave runner all over the lake. New pier is so nice

Have stayed here a few years now. The house is big enough for my family plus my parents and my brother’s family to all have a comfy bed and room to spread out. The new pier this year was a great update! We were able to leave our boats in the entire stay without worrying about them getting damaged thanks to the new bumper pads. It was nice that some of the old pier was used to make a little platform down by the lake; we used it to store our paddle boards. Kids love using the kayaks. The newly painted lower deck could use a strip of color to help see the step downs when it’s darker out.

Round Lake stay

The cabin was great and worked well for our larger family. This is the third time staying at this property. New dock this year is very nice. Plenty of parking for vehicles and trailers. Round Lake is awesome. All accommodations are exactly per the listing and place is well stocked with towels, soaps, cleaning supplies, toilet paper etc.

Lovely property, stunning views

Three Lights Lodge is a wonderful property, very family friendly. The cabin was exactly as listed and we had a lovely view of Round Lake. The dock was perfect for our pontoon & the kids enjoyed swimming on the shoreline (bring water shoes). The property owner, Clancy, was very responsive and easy to reach if needed. Having accessories for little ones (high chair, pack & play, bouncy chair) & toys was a plus for us, we had our granddaughters with us and used it all. We would highly recommend the property.

Great Location

Second year in a row at this house for our winter vacation. Snowmobile trail just down the road and down the boat landing to the main trail on the lake. Lots of wooded trails to the north and lake trails and flowage to the south and southeast. Need 4WD for sure in the winter for the driveway but the trailer parking above the driveway is a plus.
