You will love your stay at Holly House
A very warm welcome awaited us after a 6 hour journey. A lovely cup of tea and piece of cake were offered and we were shown to a most attractive, immaculate room with en suite. There were white towels on the huge bed. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate were provided, together with milk and biscuits. We enjoyed 3 nights with the host who made us most welcome. The breakfasts were amazing and we enjoyed the warm hospitality which was given. We shall certainly be returning to this lovely house and it’s warm and friendly owner.

A charming surprise. Dee, our host welcomed us into her serenity. She offered us coffee after our long drive. Beautiful accomodation lovely gardens. Home cooked breakfast, a stroll through the gardens. I would highly recommend.

A wonderful stay.
Dee is a fantastic host. She is very welcoming and goes out of her way to meet the needs of her guests. Our room and private bathroom were lovely and we also had our own, covered, patio area. Breakfast was delicious and it was great to be able to watch the birds on the feeders at the same time. Sadly, we didn't have time to explore the extensive garden, but it looked amazing!

Recommended
Visited area to catch up with friends. Perfect location for our purpose. Very comfortable accommodation and most welcoming host. Shame that weather stopped us enjoying the lovely garden and the local area. Would definitely stay there again.

I came fo a couple of nights to celebrate a family birthday and felt very welcome. The breakfast was perfect, the room lovely and the garden is amazing .

The tranquility of Holly House
I had a wonderful peaceful stay at Holly House. It is a beautiful tranquil raural accommodation. The host was lovely and very accommodating. I would recommend very much.

AMAZING!
I have no other word I could use but: AMAZING! Great location. Wonderful house, good breakfast, lots to do in the area. We did a lot of sightseeing and discovering the area. Easy access to the coast. There was so much going on.

A hidden gem. Ideal for dog owners.
Beautiful little gem of a property in a tranquil setting. Dee is the most attentive and charming hostess. She made sure we had everything we needed during our two day stay. Make sure you walk all the way down the garden! It’s huge! And like something out of a story book. Great breakfast too! Amazing place for dog owners. Forest walks all around and dogs can stay if arranged with Dee in advance. Highly recommended.

Great B&B
The host was really friendly and met every need. B&B is in a quite area and has only got 5 rooms. Big garden out the back with a unheated pool. Garden has a secluded area for a nice bit of sunbathing. Breakfast was good with cereals and full English if required. There is a local pub about 10-15 min walk away.

Un hébergement remarquable ! A recommander !
Excellent séjour à Holly House. Tout est excellent: la maison, le jardin, l’hôtesse et sa cuisine. Le lieu : une maison bien typée english style avec de jolies salles très bien meublées, un jardin bien anglais avec de merveilleux ombrages. L’hôtesse: une dame qui nous a attendu jusqu'à minuit, qui nous a guidé avec efficacité vers sa maison un peu perdue dans la campagne anglaise, avec qui nous avons parlé agreablement chaque jour. Et son english breakfast est fabuleux. Npus recommandons ce lieu à toutes les personnes qui désirent séjourner agréablement en Angleterre.

I thought the host was lovely. She made us so welcome from the minute we arrived. Her home is delightful and the garden was an unexpected find that just went on and on. Such a variety of well established plants and trees that have been lovingly cared for over many years. The whole area in Chelwood Gate was beautiful - we walked up to the Red Lion pub in the evening and had a lovely meal. Dee loned us torches for the walk home in the dark. Such a relaxing stay.and delicious breakfast's. We would definitely recommend.

A great place to stay!
Very comfortable and friendly. Breakfasts were lovely! The area is great for walks on Ashdown Forest. Close to places like Sheffield Park and the Bluebell railway.

Super place to stay, room was lovely with added outside space we could use, lovely that it was dog friendly and had great walks close by. Breakfast was spot on, altogether a pleasant stay, would definitely stay again
