A beautiful farmhouse in the middle of glorious countryside. Friendly owners, good walking and a fabulous breakfast. Close to Ardingly.

Historic farmhouse on a working farm. Excellent rooms and fabulous breakfast. Has a lovely feeling of being far more off the beaten track than it actually is!

A beautiful old cottage with many original features and a lovely atmosphere. Excellent hosts were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Cooked breakfast was lovely. All surrounded by beautiful scenery!

Absolutely amazing location and room
My mum and I had a wonderful 1 night stay here, the views from the windows are amazing. As soon as we arrived we felt welcome and relaxed, the host was happy to answer questions about the local area and places to eat. Such a relaxing break.

Great little escape
Bob and Liz were the perfect hosts, going above a beyond to be helpful. Beautiful, peaceful location, with a great breakfast. A perfect stay with a huge amount of character.

No wardrobe in the room or even places to hang clothes except behind the door. ( 2 hooks). Could do with a plain chair in the bathroom, and maybe a small table to put things on.

A lovely farmhouse, well off the beaten track in the Ashdown Forest. Very quiet location but within easy reach of fabulous tourist destinations.

Excellent farm B&B
We had a warm welcome from friendly hosts. The beautiful farmhouse is in a secluded quiet location, far from main roads. There was a comprehensive choice at breakfast. I can vouch for the full cooked breakfast. The farm is extensive and can provide many hours of exploration on foot. We thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay.

Traditional farmhouse B&B
I was really impressed to receive a call the day of my visit to confirm our arrival time and give us directions. The SatNav doesn’t get you there...but there are signs at every junction to help. The B&B really is in the middle of nowhere, so is quiet and peaceful. Our room was amazing, the farmhouse dates back, I would think, to the 16th century: the floor of our room was rather hilly! But the room was very nicely (and recently) decorated, and had a large ensuite bathroom. I couldn’t fault the room, tea and coffee, excellent WiFi, TV and toiletries all provided. Twyford Farm pays attention to detail and offers everything you could need. It’s has so much character, with oak beams and original features, the photos online don’t do it justice. There was a residents’ lounge and a boot room (great if you’re walking in the area) and breakfast was serviced in the residents’ dining room, overlooking a stunning view of the fields as forests. Breakfast was cooked to order. This is traditional English farmhouse B& at it’s very best. I’ve already recommended it to a relative, and I don’t definitely stay there again.

Peaceful,lovely B/B in the heart of the Countrside
We were visiting the nearby bluebell steam railway and booked one night here. It was very nice indeed. Old farmhouse with sloping bedroom floors etc. But lovely en suite shower and a very comfy bed. The breakfast was top notch with gluten free bread and cereals for me. Wife had a lovely fry up. We had tea and cakes on arrival. Area is lovely with countryside and walks. Met an american couple who had stayed 3 nights I believe and loved it also. So all in all this was a lovely place to stay and we would definately book this B/B if again in the area.

Lovely friendly B&B, fantastic breakfast!
We really loved staying on this working farm. Bob and Liz made us feel very welcome and we appreciated a cup of tea and cake on arrival and the lovely cooked breakfasts in the morning. The beds were very comfy too.

Fantastic stay. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Room very clean and comfy, and the breakfast was spot-on. Overall highly recommended, I will definitely be returning when I'm next staying in the area.
