Cottage Cove Oceanfront Retreat

Experience the beauty of the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia by bringing your boat and fishing rods to explore the lovely seaside. If you're more inclined to relax, you can retreat to the gazebo, enjoy swimming, and go fishing at this unique and family-friendly cove.

Cottage Cove is conveniently located near two stunning beaches. Clam Harbour Beach, known for its sand castle competition, and Martinique Beach, famous for its white sandy shores.

The upper level of the cottage features an open concept kitchen and dining area with half-cathedral ceilings and access to a wrap-around deck which overlooks the water from every angle. The master bedroom on this level offers an en suite, a queen bed, dresser, and a large shower as well as a deep jacuzzi tub.

On the bottom floor, you'll find the second and third bedrooms. One bedroom includes a double bed and dresser, while the other has two twin beds and a dresser. This level also features a second bathroom, a living room, and a laundry room.

10/10This place is a gem. The owners make it feel like a true vacation spot with every little detail taken care of, things that you might not even know you need. Ample space in and out for relaxing, the massive hot tub was a win with our ladies weekend retreat. Will definitely book again!

If you are looking for a little piece of Nova Scotia heaven, this is it! From the moment we walked through the door, every need was anticipated by the homeowner - we just needed to unpack and enjoy. The homeowner Scott dropped by to check on the hot tub and made sure that our stay was perfect. The view from the deck is stunning and fishing off the dock and paddling the kayaks provided hours of peaceful entertainment. At the end of the day we could relax in the covered hot tub. By far, this is the best vacation rental we have ever stayed at. We hadn’t even packed up to leave and had already booked our next stay. Can’t wait to return for our next picture perfect family vacation!

Beautiful cottage in a great location

Had a lovely stay with our family. Cottage has everything you could need - all details taken care of. Very responsive host as well. The area is beautiful and it was centrally located for many day trips to other parts of the island. Hope to come back soon!

Outstanding experience

Scott’s place was the perfect anchor for us to explore so much of Nova Scotia. We are all from California and there was so much to see and appreciate. The country was amazing, And Scott was the best host possible. We asked him about firewood, and he showed up that day and chopped some more for us. The house couldn’t have been more welcoming, functional or beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Magnificent Cottage!

The panoramic view of the water is magnificent! We got to see a rare rainbow and the moment the rainbow appeared a ruby throated hummingbird appeared next to us on the upper deck! We loved having breakfast, lunch and dinner, reading books and playing Scrabble on the deck right outside the kitchen. We could watch the great blue herons and the ospreys fish and frolic in the waters around the cottage! Scott and Nettie were so warm and welcoming and answered all of our questions! They made great recommendations for local restaurants, bakeries and farmer's markets. Thanks so much for your kindness and thoughtfulness!

The property is absolutely lovely and exceptionally well equipped. The beds were comfy and the house very clean. Amenities are a stone’s throw away (groceries, liquor store, hardware), which is always handy for that last minute need. The host is extremely responsive and kind. Would love to stay again!

Amazing cottage with amazing prime location

We spent 5 wondeful days in the cotttage of Scott Jones. The cottage was fully equipped with everyting you need and a little bit more. The master bathroom was very nice, large sized and with a large walk-in shower - we loved it. The living area was simultaneous a little entertainment area with very large tv, sondbar and amazon fire stick - very nice. The weather was very beautiful, so we were able to use the nice outdoor area of the property. Thanks to Scott and his family that we were allowed to use his cottage for a while. We felt like at home.

Exactly as described!

We really enjoyed our stay at Cottage Cove! The view was amazing as was the deck and gazebo to enjoy it from! The house was fresh, super clean and equipped with everything we needed! We launched our own boat and enjoyed exploring the coves! Due to the weather we didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit or the kayaks but we made good use of the TV and all of the movies! We had 3 kids under 8 who enjoyed the large lawn and the big rocks! Thank you so much for sharing your little piece of paradise with us!

Enjoying Head of Jeddore

Beautiful location with a stunning view to enjoy. Cottage was spacious, very well kept and the owner made sure we had all we would need from coffee/tea, dishwasher/washer pods to ice packs in the freezer. All your needs are met for a very enjoyable time here.
