Wonderful River views from porch. Location great walking distance to everything.Only thing porch could be little cleaner due from old pollen residue.

Ranger Reunion

Brought wife to see Helen (been 30 years) for a Ranger camp open house in Dahlonega. Alot had changed. Everything was as advertised, however extremely noisy! street noise and adjacent apartment noises till midnight or 1am. Stairwell was right above bedroom. So not much sleep to say the least. other than that, as advertised.

Great condo close to downtown Helen

My wife and I went to Helen for Oktoberfest. This condo is located right on the river and a short 5-10 minute walk to downtown. The condo was clean and the bed was comfortable. Definitely recommend.

Nice place…

We stayed here for 4 nights. Everything was very clean. I’m 63, and would have liked to see handles in the showers and the toilets a bit taller. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.

Nice weekend trip to Helen

The place was relatively easy to find, plenty of room, pretty updated especially compared to other units in the complex. We did not want for anything since it’s in the middle of everything. The beds were acceptable but not incredibly comfortable nor were the pillows but we all have our preferences. The Wi-Fi was problematic which was a bummer since our cell service was also very spotty. Those things were relatively minor as far as inconvenience. The unit is on the first floor and directly under the stairs, unfortunately there was a LOT of foot traffic and noise well into the night. The back deck was nice to look out at the River and the hundreds of tubers going by. All in all, not bad but we will probably look a little further out of town if we return for a little more peace and quiet.

Dirty

The condo first appearance looked and smelled good but then you notice the bed spread smelled of smoke,, the bathtub grout is filthy, the doors and Toilet paper holder had dust an inch deep, there were crumbs on the counter under the toaster, the dishwasher was full of dishes and water and the deck was dirty as can be! Some boards on outer deck were rotten, I would not rent there again!

Dirty, Run Down, Ant-Infested Property

We stayed 3 nights at this property and I spent a decent portion of the time cleaning. As soon as we arrived and saw the condition of the property I contacted the management company letting them know it was dirty and there were ants in the entryway, kitchen and bathrooms. They were responsive and messaged back and twice said they were sending any spray but nothing ever showed up and nothing ever happened. One of the ants but me and I ended up holding my 7 month old all night because I was afraid to but him in his portable crib overnight since it sits on the floor. The dirt and grime on the walls and floors was unbelievable - crumbs, stains, old pet urine on the baseboards, shoes, bottle caps and food all over the walls. No cleaning products were in the house except for a vacuum and filthy mop so we went and purchased some. We would have left but I was not able to confirm I would be reimbursed. The locks on the front door and on the sliding glass door were broken. The slider was also missing the security bar so overall it is not a secure environment. The showers were clean and so were the appliances. And the location on the river and in the heart of town is great as everything is in walking distance but I would not recommend staying there.

Ants

Floors were very dirty and there were ants everywhere. We had to keep all food in the refrigerator, even the chips. Ants were also very bad in the master bedroom. The condo itself was nice and the location was excellent.

Comfortable Stay

We enjoyed the accommodations; however, the two ladies complained about how noisy the two beds are. They squeak with every move. The headboard hits the wall when you move. That interrupts the sleep. The beds are right next to the doors, so we heard every person who stomped up and down the stairs and came in loud and drunk. The building is not sound proof to be right off the street. You can hear everything from cars to conversations in the front and the breezeway. That was horrible. We called to file a complaint around 1:30am or 2:00am. Our parking was secured. There was nowhere to park upon return from the Falls. The is no way to report someone not staying there that needs to be towed. The acccommodations were nice outside of there being no sound barrier and parking. We didn’t see the Wi-Fi detail in the email, so we were attempting to use the information left on the kitchen counter which was not correct. That is all that we have to report.

River View

Great location with a nice river view adjacent to the park. Just a short walk to Helen. The unit was very clean. Only complaint was that the sliding glass door needs to be fixed.

The property lacks maintenance

This property lacks maintenance. We had to clean the water leak and the overflow in the kitchen daily. The air filter also needs to be replaced as there were bits of black debris falling out from it.

GREAT LOCATION!

Property is as advertised. We visited as a girls trip and Oktoberfest. Being able to walk everywhere was fantastic, and having 3 bathrooms was everything (LOL) The view was great and just what we needed when relaxing in between activities. We'd definitely stay here again.

Nice location but exterior needs some attention.

Location was nice. Cost was reasonable. Overall outside of facility needs some painting and rotting wood replaced. It appears for the amount of money being made on this property very little is going into the exteriors. One gutter had small trees growing in it. The gutters need cleaned annualy and the moss needs removed from the roof and the trees cut back. Sooner or later the roof will fail. Too nice of a location to not keep up with necessary maintenance.

Excellent location with beautiful view.

Location is great and very convenient, the view was awesome. Access to the river right outside the front door was amazing and the view from the balcony was great. The unit itself was pretty nice but the cleaning service doesn’t do a great job. With a quick wipe down this place is great for a family vacation.

Beautiful view and relaxing except for the noise from the people outside our last night.

Condo was not cleaned as it should have been. Living room furnishings were old and dirty. Sofa/bed was horrible. Should be replaced YESTERDAY!! Chips and dirty napkins fell out when we pulled out the bed. Old coffee grounds in the coffee maker. Queen bed in one room creaked awful. Floor was dirty in entire condo. If I owned it I would be livid!! The good points were the view and I’ve seen worse as far as the condo.
