Great stay
A thoroughly enjoyable week in the Old Coach House. The coach was well laid out and very comfortable, a really unique experience. The setting is superb, a perfect sun trap with the added benefit of watching the antics of the goats, chickens and ducks. Local area is beautiful, would definitely recommend.

Despite the weather we had wonderful time!!!
What a pleasant and friendly place to stay! We’ve made the most of our holiday! Enjoyed every moment despite the weather! Visited all little villages and beaches around also St Michael’s Mount, Minack Theather, St Ives beach and Seal Sanctuary. We had great walks at Lizard Point and Through Devils frying pan. Our daughter fall in love with goats! Specially with a little one. They raised each other every day 😊 Zoe also fall in love with a toy fishing boat that was in there and we couldn’t find it in any gift shop. On our last day she received it as a gift from our host. It was a perfect holiday for us! Lots of lovely memories and pictures! Thank you so much Paula!

Wunderschön
eine wirklich wunderschöne Ferienanlage, sehr nette Vermieter, weitläufige Anlage, sauber, gemütlich, einfach zauberhaft :-) der vintage 1880 Waggon ist mit vielen lieben Details ausgestattet und hat alles was man braucht. Morgens und über den ganzen Tag, hat man eine wunderbare Aussicht auf die Tiere. Eins A!

Super gezellige treinwagon
Echt heel gezellig en van alle gemakken voorzien. Heerlijke stoelen voor op de veranda en achter het huisje nog een picknick tafel. Lekker rustig. Veel te doen in de omgeving!

Quaint and relaxing fab watching the goats and ducks .local pub cadgwith arms 10 min walk down bank . Bit of a hill coming bk up but if you have your Prosecco chilling then your fine.ideal for visiting minack theatre and beach,st micheals mount, st Ives and much more . Lovely pub in lizard 2 mile down rd also lovely little beach at Kennack sand local with 2 nice cafes hosts very friendly

A Piece of Heaven.
We loved staying in this railway coach, well equipped, clean, comfortable bed. nice shower room & toilet, loads of space outside, all very natural. Looking forward to rebooking again. Lovely coastal walks to the Lizard point. Short walk to Cadgwith along coastal path.Missing the place already.

Very special place
Thank you Paula for a wonderful couple of days in your railway carriage. What a special place . The carriage is fitted to a really high standard, the most comfy bed, ever(!) welcoming scones and clotted cream, and such a superb location. It was lovely to sit on the balcony overlooking your beautiful garden with the ducks and goats, and also to be within a few metres of the SW coast path! Wonderful stay, thank you , Jo and Rob

Very nice accomodation in a relaxed Garden setting
We had a wonderful week in the very nice decorated railway wagon. The animals in the garden were so lovely and funny to watch. The small fishing village is pretty and the coastal foot Path only a few steps away. We Loved it.

Small but perfectly formed ...
Just returned from 3 nights in the Old Coach at Cadgwith ... a lovely setting and great, if quirky, holiday home. The Old Coach was spotlessly clean, well-equipped and very comfortable. Everything we needed for a short-break ... only wish we could have stayed longer. Met Paula tending her goats and chickens on the first evening ... so helpful and welcoming. The setting is lovely, very quiet and the other holiday lets at the same location look equally impressive. Lots of space, even though there were other guests around, privacy and peace and quiet is guaranteed. Lots of walking routes and footpaths nearby and easy reach for coast and countryside. Even though we have both lived in Cornwall all our lives, this is an area we have never explored much before, so plan to return and will definitely try to book the Old Coach again in future. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Quirky chilled out stay
A lovely quirky stay in a converted railway carriage, everything you need is there, a couple of heaters(which we needed) , nice veranda, steep incline to cove with a good , busy pub that’s serves good food, loved watching the boats bring in their catch, no view of sea/harbour from property.

Sauber und gepflegt in wunderschöner Umgebung mit sehr freundlichen Vermieter. Der South West Coast Path Way ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Möchte man weitere Abschnitte des South West Coast Way erkunden, ist Google maps hilfreich, damit man Bus Verbindungen rausfinden kann um am Startort wieder zurück zu kommen. Rundwege sind so gut wie nicht möglich, da die Straßenwege für Fußgänger höchst gefährlich sind.

Peace and quiet
A unique experience staying in the Coach House at Cadgwith. A bed that was soooo comfortable a lovely kitchen shower was great and a good area for walking the coastal paths. Had fun watching you both (Paul n Paula) feeding the ducks and putting them to bed. A quiet and unique place to stay.

Unique experience
We stayed in a beautiful, sympathetically converted, old railway carriage. It had everything you could possibly need. We were welcomed by a delicious cream tea and the hostess came to introduce herself. Paula and her family were welcoming, friendly, helpful and proud of their beautiful location. There was a lovely goat, ducks, cats and we could hear an owl in the evening. It was idyllic. It was only a 10 minute walk to the harbour and pub for dinner and entertainment. We were well placed to visit all the famous sights in the area and enjoyed going into the pretty town of Helston. We were so relaxed at the end of the week after staying in such a lovely place and we will definitely go to stay again. 10/10

Thank you for your review. For future guests reference, there is a combination microwave/grill incorporating a convection oven with a maximum temp of 220* degrees (as on property description) and a four ring electric hob. This IS an old railway carriage 😊 but with a good sized kitchen and shower room we hope offers guests comfortable and interesting accommodation!

Tranquil break
Had a lovely, peaceful week in this beautiful converted carriage. Spent many an hour sitting on the veranda reading after walking on the coast path or walking back from the village. The hosts Paula and Paul are there if you need them, but happy to leave you to your peace and quiet. Will definitely stay again.

What a find, the carriage is wonderful and tastefully decorated by the owner There is everything you need for self catering holiday. The location is superb wjth the historic village just down the hill and The Devils Frying Pan within 5 mins walk. We had a great time here thanks for the fantastic experience.

Lovely location in beautifully restored railway carriage
A comfortable and tastefully decorated railway carriage - a short walk from Cadgwith. A lovely touch was the cream tea on arrival which went down very well. A quiet location with a lovely sunny verandah to sit under after a long walk along the coastal path.

Perfect peaceful coastal retreat
The coach house has everything a seeker of a quirky character place to stay, along with being in an unspoilt and crowd free coastal location, would want. Nestled in a quiet spot just above picture postcard Cadgwith and alongside the forever beautiful Cornish coastal path, its location will suit anyone whom loves to get away from towns, crowds, ice cream sellers, (screaming kids!) etc and embrace the truue beauty of Cornwall. The pictures of the coach house don't lie, it's a beautifully kept period rail carriage which I never tried of admiring whilst inside, and outside is complimented with decking and seating areas either side to suit either your mood, the wind or the sun. I found idling away an hour or two watching the ducks and chickens in the daytime, or listening to the owls whilst stargazing when dark, wonderfully relaxing, particular perfect (and generally accompanied by a G&T!) after a few hours walking the coastal path which is right on your doorstep, or exploring a multitude of other coastal delights on the Lizard peninsula by car, all only a short distance away. I could go on and on.... Finally, a standing ovation and thanks to Paula and Paul for creating this special place to stay, and for their hospitality and friendliness throughout. 10/10

Beautiful carraige
what a beautiful place, the carraige had so many lovely touches, the bed extremely comply too...the walk in shower, the shutters instead or curtains and the decking area to sit and watch the chickens,ducks and little goat..we had a very relaxing week and enjoyed our little walks with our dogs along the coastal path and down to the cove..we shall be back.

Gorgeous hideaway.
We had a lovely week in the Old Coach. Beautifully appointed with a comfy bed, great heating in what was a cool, rainy, windy week. The kitchen has good quality pans, utensils and even a Kitchen Aid mixer. When we did get sun, we sat on the verandah watching the runner ducks. Paul and Paula were great hosts and very supportive and flexible when I was taken ill on the last day.

The Old Coach
gorgeous little hide away. The Old Coach was adorable with everything you needed in a perfect setting. Only downside for us was the very narrow and steep lanes... if everyone would drive accordingly ...especially around the blind bends!!. Paula and Paul lovely and helpful. The cream tea and fresh eggs... wonderful.

A truely beautiful place
Our stay at this beautiful property was wonderful. The coach house has a lovely vinatge feel with beautiful furnishings, incredibly comfortable and spotlessly clean. It is so well equipted with everything you could possibly need. The surrounding area is beathtakingly stunning and the short walk to the village and beach was an absolute treat. Paula is a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome and was on hand to help if needed.. arriving to find a lovely cream tea and fresh laid eggs was a really lovely touch. I highly recommend this exceptional property, we cant wait to return.

A paradise of quirky and quaint ❤
A beautiful home from home, just the right size for two. Very generously equipped, everything you needed was available. The scones and free range eggs were delicious! Fabulous hosts who went the extra mile, nothing seemed too much trouble. A very relaxing stay in a stunning location. We'd definitely recommend and hope to go back.

Fantastically quirky with exceptional hosts
An absolute gem of a find right on the coastal path, clean, fresh, warm and comfortable. Perfect base to walk from. 10min walk to friendly pub with something going on most nights. Needed a break from technology and just wind down to that Cornish pace and breathe. (Those of you that still need can get 4g on devils frying pan...say no more) So much character in this beautiful carriage, tastefully decorated and so very comfortable. Hosts are nearby but not in your face. Would highly recommend
