Amazing Vacation Rental in Sabine National Forest on Toledo Bend Lake for a Fantastic Family Escape in Hemphill, Texas

Sip coffee on the covered deck and take in the beautiful sunrise over the lake surrounded by Sabine National Forest. Keep an eye out for Bald Eagles, and an Osprey nest atop a 20-foot-high tree stump just a quarter mile from shore. The mobile home is inside a campground located on Toledo Bend, one of the best bass fishing lakes in the country, and we have the best crappie fishing right below our marina. Sabine National Forest offers hiking and nature trails for outdoor enthusiasts.

Bedroom 1 has a king bed.

Bedroom 2 has a twin over double bunk bed with a trundle that can sleep 3 kids or 2 adults comfortably.

The kitchen is nicely equipped with service for 8, and everything you need to cook or grill your favorite meals.



Wi-Fi available, however the remote nature of Toledo Bend Lake means service can be spotty at times. You should have cell phone service with most providers. Bring your Netflix, Amazon, Disney, or other streaming services account login to connect to the smart TV.



Uncovered boat slips are available to rent. Message host for availability.



The entire house is yours to enjoy with the large, covered deck with ceiling fan and gas grill (propane provided). There is a 2-bay covered carport. Washer and Dryer provided in the unit. Please bring your detergent.



Guests have full access to the boat ramp, swimming platform (this is not a private dock; it is for all guests in the campground), fish cleaning station, kayaks (reserve at the store) and waterfront pavilion.



We have staff available to answer any questions as we do not live on site. The manager's phone number is listed in the guest book provided in the digital guidebook you will receive after booking and on the kitchen counter.



The campground store hours vary by season and sell beer, bait, ice, grocery items, gas (including non-ethanol), ice, firewood, picnic items, and much more.
