âWe stayed here due to a wedding at nearby Bruisyard. It was a lovely stay and I couldnât fault it, a beautiful setting full of nature and a very well preserved property. Liz was very accommodating allowing us to drop our luggage and car off earlier than check in; we also came down to a very very nice breakfast with something for everyone. â
âOur stay was a last minute decision and we were luckily to get a room for too nights. We also had our little dog with us. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts was lovey and had a good choice. They even gave our dog a sausage, which he enjoyed.
The room was small but clean and tidy. The only draw back is that the room was on the top floor, with a lot of stairs to climb. It seemed extra long in the night when the god needed to go to the toilet. But we managed and it was fine.â
âThere is no doubt that the hotel has been renovated to a luxurious, high standard and that the staff are well-trained and pleasant. And one of the charms of The Swan is that it is an old building with quirky staircases and little nooks and crannies. However, we were disturbed during the night by doors banging and people using stairs outside our room in order to access theirs. It doesn't matter how luxurious a room and a bed are if you are constantly disturbed and for this reason we don't feel...

âFantastic stay. I received a warm welcome and was informed of the history of the main house and given informationabout breakfast and the relaxing bar area.
Breakfast orders are taken the evening before, and my order was delivered to the dining room at exactly the time ordered (it was hot, fresh and delicious). There are cereals etc already in the room.
The choice is excellent and includes veggie/vegan options. Great coffee.

âGreat location for a last minute trip to the Suffolk Coast! Few minutes drive from Southwold. Very spacious and clean family room with a nice breakfast included. All staff we met were helpful and friendly. Would recommend. â
âOnly stayed one night and arrived late/went early so didn't see/use the hotel's lounge or other amenities. Our hotelroom/bathroom was clean and large. The breakfast was fine, cooked to our order.
