Hotell nära Henstead Exotic Gardens

“There is no doubt that the hotel has been renovated to a luxurious, high standard and that the staff are well-trained and pleasant. And one of the charms of The Swan is that it is an old building with quirky staircases and little nooks and crannies. However, we were disturbed during the night by doors banging and people using stairs outside our room in order to access theirs. It doesn't matter how luxurious a room and a bed are if you are constantly disturbed and for this reason we don't feel...

“So, first of all the English breakfast. Have to pay extra for mushrooms (how rude and hence only 4 stars for it) but a good choice of continental food, cereal, yoghurt, pastries, jams. The room (I stayed in the lodge) very clean and spacious room however the radiator didn't seem to be working although towel rail in bathroom was but there was enough space for a wheelchair. Staff are diligent and friendly (both day and night) and I advised on the faulty socket in my room. I've stayed here before...

“Spacious room,great shower and all spotless. Lots of 'extras' water by the bed, slippers and dressing gowns. Great view too. Breakfast was very good as was dinner. All the staff were professional and friendly. ”

“This property is a real find. It has character and it is reasonably priced for the service received. Breakfasts were great and reasonable choices for our 2 night dinner stay. Very close to a pebbly beach and not far from Southwold, Aldburagh, Norwich and the broads.”

“Svårt att hitta för oss. Underbar utsikt, det ligger högt upp. Fint stort rum hade vi bokat, sköna sängar, trappor upp och ner, ingen hiss. Man kunde äta på hotellet på kvällen, god mat, god frukost. Prisvärt. Personal behjälplig i receptionen.”

“The apartment enjoys a central location in the lovely quaint coastal town of Southwold. A very comfortable, spacious flat with plenty of shops and places to eat on your doorstep. The bedrooms are on a slightly lower level to the living room and kitchen area and would benefit from some sort of coloured strip to draw your attention to this as the flooring is all one uniform colour. An accident waiting to happen! Otherwise a really nice place to stay.”
