“The Courtyard at Cheddi Jagan IA is extremely clean and convenient. The property was immaculate, staff were friendly, their bar/coffee shop and variety of foods being offered at the lunch buffet were all excellent. I loved the shuttle (can be used upon request if needed, but let the property know ahead of time).”

There is no kettle in the room, so you can not get boiling water for a tea or coffee after 10 pm. The coffee machine was not working in our room. The safe wasn’t working when we first arrived; shortly after, the engineer arrived and fixed it- so we were able to use the safe in the room during our stay. We enjoyed their food options, especially because they provided local guyanese cuisines which we loved very much. The drinks at the bar were fresh and delicious. “I recently stayed at the Royal International Hotel in Georgetown. Overall, the stay was acceptable, but there were several issues that future guests should be aware of. The hotel itself is modern and is attached to a mall with restaurants, shops, a casino, and a gym, which is very convenient. Most of the staff I encountered were polite and tried to be helpful. “The house we were supposed to stay in got cancelled after we landed in Guyana, and the owner let us stay here on short notice and basically saved our vacation! The house is in a convenient location between Cheddi Jagan and Georgetown. The beds are comfortable, AC gets really cold, ceiling fan in the sitting room and stand fan in the bedroom.”
