Riverfront Cabin! Mountain Views, Pool, Hot Tub, Fishing, Tubing, Fire Pit, WIFI

This lovely riverfront cabin is located along the Hiwassee River. Built in 2006, this cabin has nearly 2,000 sq. ft. of living space. The cabin was remolded in June of 2022 with all NEW furniture and appliances! There are 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The master bedroom is located downstairs and features a NEW king-sized bed. The master bath is adjacent and includes a jacuzzi tub and a separate shower. The two upstairs bedrooms are both furnished with two NEW queen beds in each room. The second full bathroom is also located upstairs. The living room and all bedrooms are equipped with TVs with internet capability. Netflix and YouTube TV are provided.

The cabin is equipped with a main-level laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer. The kitchen is equipped with NEW appliances for cooking, and there is a large dining room table for family meals. The open concept living room includes a fireplace.

The true gem of this cabin is the rear covered porch with rocking chairs, TV, and a hot tub for relaxing with a cup of coffee or enjoying a beautiful sunset. A charcoal grill is also available. Walk down to the river to go tubing, trout fishing, or build a campfire. There are two automatic fish feeders on the property so, trout are always nearby. Trout are also stocked just up the river making this a prime fishing spot. If you just want to cool off, enjoy our community swimming pool (available Memorial Day-Labor Day).

Our location is just minutes from Lake Chatuge, boat rentals, grocery stores, local boutiques, restaurants, and a hospital. It is also close to Brasstown Bald, Helen (15 miles away), Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds, Golf Courses, Spas, Appalachian Trail, NE Georgia Wineries, Zip Lining, Gem Mining, White Water Rafting, Waterfalls, and Scenic Mountain Driving.

We found this cabin at the last minute for a girl’s trip. We enjoyed the location and the home itself. The house was comfortable and we enjoyed the gas fireplace and the hot tub. The only thing I would add if it was my cabin would be a dishwasher. Other than that it was perfect!

Relaxing Get Away

The home was a in a great location. We were close to town, the lake, hiking trails, water falls, and many other activities and locations. Additionally, when we weren’t in a hurry to go somewhere, we enjoyed the creek that was right behind the house, fire pit, community pool, and just sitting on the porch.

Our family's happy place

This is our second time staying. Sara is a wonderful host. The home has plenty to do and is always clean (fishing, swimming, tubing, hot tub, fire pit, etc.) but if you want to adventure some there is plenty to do for reasonable cost (horseback riding, lake Chatuge, hiking, waterfalls, zip lining, snuggling capybara, etc.). Always a wonderful vacation for our family. We are planning again for next year!

Perfect

This was a perfect location for a family meet up. The cabin was perfect and my 15 yo son didn’t want to go explore anywhere but the river. He caught so many trout that we had to make him come inside. We cooked on the grill several nights. Grocery stores and restaurants were convenient to the cabin. In fact we all said we will make sure we save this property as our favorite so we can return often.

Great Mountain Retreat

This is our 2nd time of staying in this house. We go to Hiawassee annually with our young grandchildren. They love playing in and around the river. Safe conditions for 10 year old boys to enjoy the outdoors. And they love the hot tub

Perfect Weekend

Football on the deck-hot tub-shopping-fishing made for a perfect getaway. Tv slowed at times but not a huge inconvenience for football lovers. Perfect and safe for kids to explore and parents to unwind. Towels and sheet were updated and clean. Many cleaning supplies present.

Fantastic cabin and location.

Enjoyed everything about it, except the “stock trout” river did not appear to have any fish. Plus it was catch and release so that ended our hopes of catching dinner at least once. Otherwise the property was as advertised and the location was perfect for our planned activities. Definitely would stay there again.

Heaven on earth

Our week was amazing! The cabin was fabulous and in a great small community. The set up of the cabins with all the space and trees makes you feel you are in a secluded area. We had to remind the kids we were sharing the space with others. The river was amazing for the family and having the pool and hot tub was sprinkles to an already amazing cake. I feel like I need to avoid saying too many nice things for fear we will miss out on it next time. Our family returned feeling rested and everyone agreed we will miss the place.
