The Funky Frog and property owner Denise were absolutely amazing. The cabin had everything we needed and more; we’ve stayed at many VRBO properties and this one literally had everything from scissors and fans to firewood. Denise was quick with responding with any questions or concerns we had and well wishes for our 10 yr wedding anniversary! 😀😀

One of the nicest cabins we've stayed in. Can tell the owners put a lot of love into the cabin and made sure it was comfortable for kids and pets. Will definitely book it again next time we're in Higgins.

We took a rustic retreat to the family- budget- and pet-friendly Funky Frog Cabin up north this weekend. Quality time ✔ It was really cozy without feeling cramped. The owners have really put a lot of time and love into this property. Excellent host communication. Superb attention to detail and accommodating our needs.

Got to the property around 330 on the Friday after Thanksgiving, checked into the property, walked around, was totally happy with everything looked exactly like he did on the Vrbo site And we had a fantastic weekend! All the appliances were there use the toaster use the stove refrigerator. Everything was really good would definitely make plans to stay up there again next year as we typically go up to northern Michigan Thanksgiving weekend Thanksgiving Denise.

Such a cute cabin filled with games also outdoor games not far from the state park. So happy yard was fenced in so our dog could roam around! Great place !communication with the host was phenomenal.

Our crew really enjoyed our stay at the Funky Frog! Denise was a great host and the property was as described. Definitely a smaller cabin but perfect for our two night stay with two adults, a newborn, and a dog. Outdoor area was great if you wanted to entertain or have friends stop by for the day. Would recommend for a small family looking for a quiet retreat near the best lake in Michigan!

We enjoyed our stay here. The pictures and description were 100% accurate. It's always wonderful to be able to take your dogs on vacation with you. Our dogs loved the big fenced in yard. Our girls enjoyed the yard games. Simple walk down to the beautiful lake. Any questions we had before arriving were answered right away. We have never been at a vacation home where the owners supplied items that can be easily forgotten. We remembered everything but I loved that those items were there if we needed them.
