“Rooms were spacious and nice ”

“Apparently shoulder season means everything was closed (resturants, bars, breakfast, not even a vending machine for drinks or snacks were available). When we called front desk they said go across the street for a vending machine or take the bus down town. Seemed more like a prison than a resort. No ac in the room and had to request a box fan from front desk to handle the heat in our room. “We really enjoyed our stay at the Grand Lodge Traverse condo. The pet-friendly setup and free shuttle into town were huge perks. The condo was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed, including pots and pans, dishes, a toaster, microwave, dishwasher, and even two coffee makers. Some of those weren’t listed, so that was a nice surprise. “Fabulous bed! Lovely view from our balcony. Needed a bit of upkeep—paint on a drawer, a few more outlets or surge switches for medical equipment & electronic devices. Excellent front desk crew! Recommended.”

“The unit was very dated. It is also odd that you walk into the bedroom, having to go through it to the sitting area/kitchenette. Our room adjoins another room, and we heard their TV and chatting until they went to sleep. That was annoying. The location and staff were phenomenal ”
