“We had the presidential suite and the view of the lake was beautiful. The room was very spacious and had its own private porch to watch the sunrise on. The only disappointment we had was reading about the hot breakfast and then being told that's only for Saturday and Sunday (we were there on a Friday). We enjoyed our stay.”

“We had to take my daughter’s service dog so we were placed by the office ground floor and a dog next to us barked continuously. The room was very basic and run down and there were even cobwebs in the bathroom. The desk chair was stained and gross but the worst was when i pulled up the sheets on the corner of the bed for the bed bug test the mattress was brown and fluid stained. Very expensive for what you get and the food and drink availability was poor. At least have a vending machine or...

“all good”

“Breakfast was just waffles, toast, yougurt or cereal. no fruit, eggs, etc.”

“The room was very clean and quaint. Perfect space for our stay. The Holliss's were very hospitable and attended to every need. I highly recommend doing breakfast. Great food and the company is a mix of people from all over. You get to meet and greet everyone and truly get a home feel while enjoying a fantastic breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.”

“We loved our room. It's in a great location just a short drive over to Helen and Cleveland. The owners were wonderful and checked on us several times to make sure we didn't need anything. It felt like our home away from home. If you're heading that way consider staying here.”

“Lovely property, however it is at the far end of the town”

“The breakfast lady was wonderful.”

“Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very close to Helen, but quieter, especially during Oktoberfest. Bed was super comfy as well as the pillows.”

“Ett slitet hotell. Duschdraperiet låg löst i badkaret. Schampoflaskorna hängde löst upp och ner. Inget positivt intryck med tanke på att kostnaden motsvarar hotellrum med mycket bättre läge. Frukostens utbud var uselt. Som vanligt i förenta staterna är det socker och bagels som gäller. Personalen i receptionen försvann med jämna mellanrum så det var bara att vänta och komma tillbaka senare om du ville något. Hela samhället Helen är rejält slitet och nergånget. En besvikelse.”

“The room is clean”

“The service was good and the staff were great, but the bathrooms were disgusting. The shower was so filthy and horrible that we didn't even want to use it, and the indoor drains kept getting clogged—a very bad experience.”
