“This hotel has ambitions to be a luxury hotel. It probably has been. But now the furniture and textiles are worn out, the flowers indoors has seen its best days, the supply in the small bar in the lobby is very bad. Birds were flying indoors eating from the buffe but no one seemed to bother. The pool had green algiers.

“Detta hotell är fantastiskt. Det tar dig tillbaka till 30 talets New York i känslan fast det ligger i Syd Afrika. Magisk design tillsammans med härlig atmosfär. Alla är trevliga och hjälpsamma. Detta hotell rekommenderas varmt. ”

“Mellanlandade i två nätter för Safari kring Johannesburg. Bra och säkert område med stort matutbud och nära till casino. Vi fick ha våra väskor kvar hela dagen även efter utcheckning och passade på att ligga vid poolen på grannhotellet där vi även duschade för 60zar. Frukosten var kanon!”
“Jag har runt 100 hotellnätter stadigt per år. Det här hotellet överträffar det mesta - från incheckning till utcheckning. Eller vad dägs om detta - när kag kl. 11.30 ber att gå en bil med guide kl. 13.00 får jag svaret O.K. och sedan är det (helt fantasisk guide/chaufför) klart. Frukosten för rn som äter vegandk kan inte bli bättre. Pool/solområdens är fantastiska. OCH tidigt igår mirse när solen precis hått upp hörde jag lejonen ryta från det stora Johannesburg Zoo sim ligger granne....

"There was no running water in the entire hotel. We were told there was a water outage in the entire neighborhood. You would expect that a hotel such as Holiday Inn would have a reserve tank especially since water outages are not a novelty in Johannesburg.
We were told the hotel was providing complementary drinking water in our rooms and would also provide water for baths. In a family room for 4, there were two 330ml water bottles. Reception wasnt picking up calls from rooms. Overall, not what I expected from the hotel. I hope this was a one off and that they would normally handle all of this better. "
