âWe stayed here 4 nights. First 3 then we came back for one more after our trip to Machu picchu. First of all the service here has been outstanding since we first arrived. We came very early on the day of our check in, extremly tired after a long bus trip. Still, at 5 am we were welcomed perfectly and got to check in to our room directly. At that time, the only room available had to separate beds (which we accepted since we really needed to sleep) but as we came back later during the day to staff...

âAmaru Colonial was one of the best hotel experiences Iâve ever had. It is a beautiful hotel with stunning views of Cusco from the patio. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The area felt safe and is a short walk to the city center. Breakfast each day was healthy and tasty. The staff went above and beyond with transporting and storing our luggage for a few days while we went to Machu Picchu at their sister hotel which we stayed at when we returned to Cusco. â

Even though the hotel hadn't gotten our hotels.com reservation, they allowed an early check in and gave us a room without us even having to ask for it. Den branta stigningen och den höga höjden gör det ibland svĂ„rt gĂ„ uppför gatorna. Det gĂ„r dĂ„ att ta en taxi (Ăber finns inte i Cusco). Taxipriserna Ă€r lĂ„ga och förarna trevliga. Ett problem Ă€r dock att Ă€ven inhemska förare har svĂ„rt att hitta till hotellet och slĂ€pper av en liten varstans. Sen gĂ€ller det att sjĂ€lv hitta hotellet. Men belöningen blir stor nĂ€r man vĂ€l kommer in i hotellet. En trevligt inredd reception Ă€r det första som möter en. Personalen mycket vĂ€nlig och vĂ€lkomnande. Man talar engelska och spanska. Det Ă€r ett mycket vackert och mysigt litet stenhotell med patio och en bedĂ„rande utsikt över Cusco och omgivande landskap. Man fĂ„r nĂ€stan nypa sig i armen för att ta in den bedövande vackra utsikten. Flera trappor men hiss finns. Rummen Ă€r relativt stora och har allt man behöver. TVn fungerade dock inte.
