Nice little cabin. Great location.
Nice little cabin. Clean and practical. Central to everything you’ll want to do in the black hills. Nice little kitchen. Not the most comfortable bed or couch, but that’s not why you’re there anyway.

Simplemente fenomenal! Las cabañas sumamente acogedoras, con todo lo necesario para pasar unas magníficas vacaciones. Muy cerca del Monte Rushmore y el parque Custer. Una ubicación privilegiada. A 13 minutos el maravilloso pueblito de Hill City, donde hay opciones de comida y un súper, para llevar lo necesario a la cabaña.

The property is decent but the outside grass around the cabin was unkept. Upstairs beds are complete garbage…they should be tossed out immediately. Very limited kitchen dishes, pots, and pans. Can’t imagine 6-8 people in here. The living space is pretty limited.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was clean, fully equipped and comfortable! The owners are terrific in keeping in contact if there is anything necessary to know. Its a great location if you're planning on seeing a lot of the area!

Property was amazing and very clean. The family built the cabins themselves and the were very cozy and definitely made you feel like your own little home, fully equipped everything you needed as if you were cooking in your own home. Property was very peaceful and quiet.. The owners were very friendly when we interacted from getting firewood.. and a great location not to far away from all the attractions we wanted to see.. especially loved having the brochures to help find things and places to go

Cute, clean and cozy
The trip to the Mt Rushmore area was awesome. The cabin was cute, clean and quaint. Went with another couple. Only one main bedroom downstairs. Huge loft with two beds upstairs. Both bathrooms are down. So consider your family dynamics before booking. The host was very responsive on check and a question on the heater in the bathroom. We had a great time.

The Cabins are beautifully constructed and very clean and welcoming. The location can’t be beat. Hill City is a great town for dining and shopping as well as local to many sites including Mr. Rushmore, Custer State Park, Crazy Horse, and an easy drive to Rapid City and Deadwood. The hosts at this property are a young couple who were well organized and very helpful. It was a pleasure to stay at Freedom Ridge Cabins.

Very beautiful cabins! Super clean withnideal space to hang out. Theres a little kids area in the patio which is perfect for 5 and 3 yr old kids. The manager was on site pretty much of the time. Even the property manager's cat was super friendly amd welcoming specially with the kids... want to get one now... 🙃. The only improvement and not sure that it can be done is the network connection.. you will loose wifi and phone signal while you are there. For us was a little bummer because we were counting on the wifi to make our next day plans so the advise here is to plan ahead!. Other than that was an awesome experience!!

Excellent cabin. All amenities we needed. Spotty signal but were able to connect to wi-fi near the main house. We could smell the wood and it was so amazing. Memorable experience!!! Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Unplug, unwind and enjoy the beauty!
Wow! What a beautiful place! Inside, outside, all of it WONDERFUL! Great communication with owners. Very clean and well maintained. Such a gorgeous area. Beds were comfy. The towels were plush and very nice. We have 6 kids, it’s hard to find a reasonable place to stay for our family… Plenty of space for us! Very close to many of the Black Hills attractions. Only heads up I have… be prepared to be unplugged! I overlooked that little detail. Brought my work computer along… no internet! No cell service! We quickly adjusted and enjoyed that aspect! We truly were away from it all… on VACATION! It was great!

Beautiful setting. We would see deer every morning. The Host went over and above to make sure we were happy and comfortable (especially since we received 18 inches of snow on the day of arrival). We loved the cabin!

Beautiful, clean, cozy... pick this place!
We booked this cabin for a short family trip and we were VERY impressed! The property was very clean, very warm and welcoming. As we were pulling up we even saw a couple deer! We loved being able to cook our own food and have our own beds. We didn't have cell service or wifi at the cabin but it was just a short drive to town with service. It was really nice to unplug, breathe fresh air, and take in the beautiful sights of the black hills. The 4 cabins are right next to each other but it didn't feel cramped at all and we barely saw our neighbors, so we felt like we had our privacy. I was pleasantly surprised as to how close we were to the tourist spots, and we were able to fit in so many sights in our short trip. These have been uncertain times with covid, but we felt very comfortable during our whole trip. We will absolutely be back!

We rate this cabin 15 out of 5 stars!! RECOMMEND!!
Our family of 8 stayed in the Big Horn Vista over Labor Day Weekend. We came up with 2 pickups pulling 2 trailers with 2 UTVs, 4 ATVs and a dirt bike. *There was room by our cabin to park both trucks, UTVs, ATVs and dirt bike. The trailers weren't right by our cabin, they were parked just down the hill but still on the property. *There was plenty of room for all of us in the cabin and sleeping arrangements worked GREAT! *We absolutely LOVED that there was room for everyone to eat together around the kitchen table and the campfire! *Both Chace and Leslie were quick to respond to questions before our trip to answer our questions! Everything was better than advertised! We WILL be back!! Thank you, Larsons!!!

Gorgeous cabin on a nestled little property. Was even bigger than I expected. Sleeps 12, very clean and comfortable with a nice kitchen completely stocked with appliances and utensils. The property managers do live on the property and we’re very accommodating & helpful while still allowing you your own private space. The area is gorgeous with so much to see and do.
