The Space
Everyone who visits is awed by the cleanliness, seclusion, and privacy of our guest suite. The night sky and star gazing amaze out guests. We are certified in Airbnbâs 5 step cleaning process and sterilize the apartment before each guest arrives. Our guests appreciate the fine appointment and seasonal dĂ©cor of the suite. Freshly painted and decorated, we are committed to offering an unforgettable stay with lasting memories.
Upon arrival, guests enter a locked foyer where they can leave their hiking or ski/snow board gear. The next locked entrance opens into the private guest suite.
There is a kitchenette/work room on the left with a door for quiet office work, a full bathroom on the right with an oversized walk-in shower and straight ahead is the great studio room with a cathedral ceiling. The room invites privacy, peace, and tranquility. Guests are guaranteed isolation and freedom from neighbors.
The room is fully furnished with the left side as the sleeping quarters and the right side the sitting/relaxing area. The room has six windows with picturesque views with black out curtains for privacy and a good night's sleep. The room is enhanced with deep shag carpets that add comfort under your feet. There is a smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector for your safety.
Our guests rave about the comfort of the queen-sized bed. It has a pillow top mattress covered with pima cotton sheets that are sterilized in hot water before your arrival. All bed linens and throw blankets are provided.
There is a 42-inch flat screen TV with FREE Xfinity cable (over 200 channels), FREE Firestick streaming and FREE, fast, Wi-Fi (467 Mbps). In addition, there is a sitting chair, a handcrafted bookshelf stocked with books for your reading pleasure, a leather swivel recliner chair, and a leather sofa with recliners at each end for your comfort and enjoyment. There is a small infrared fireplace heater along with year-round oil, base board heat with a thermostat to control the temperature of the guest suite. Portable air conditioning is included seasonally.
The bathroom is equipped with a toilet, sink and oversized walk-in shower. Guests rave about the water pressure in the shower stating it is not common to find in a bnb. Cream rinse, body wash and loofah sponges are provided. There is a hair dryer, hot pad for your styling tools and a first aid kit on site. Bath towels, hand towels, face cloths, dish towels, toilet paper, Kleenex, hand soap, dish soap, sponge and disinfecting wipes are included.
Many guests use the kitchenette as a workspace area. It includes a table, 2 chairs, a microwave, toaster oven airfryer combo, single k-cup brewer, electric kettle and skillet and a 4.4 cf HiSense refrigerator with a vegetable drawer and freezer. This room is stocked with coffee/teacups, k-cup pods, teas, water, sugar, coffee-mate, paper towels, plastic plates/bowls/utensils, paper plates, napkins, and disposable silverware. There are wine glasses, bottle and can opener, cutting board and knives. There is a fire extinguisher for your safety.
Pets are not allowed. There is no smoking allowed inside our property. The apartment is freshly decorated and not child proof. Therefore, children under 15 are not allowed. Maximum capacity is 2 people; a twin air mattress with bedding and linens is available upon request. No parties or unregistered guests are allowed. You must be 21 years or older to stay with us.
Guest Access
We believe in social distancing and offer contactless self checkin and checkout. Guests enter the building via a wireless keypad. Once in the foyer, there is a locked door that gives full access to the private spacious guest suite attached to our main home. Guests are not permitted to enter the main house.
Other Things to Note
We require our guests to be over 21 years old. Guests are given the passcode for the keypad prior to arrival. There is a wireless keypad affixed to the entrance door above the door handle. When guests enter the foyer, the entrance to the guest suite is on the left. The key to the guest suite is in the door handle. Guests are required to lock both the guest suite door and the entrance door when they leave the guest suite. We ask guests to leave the guest suite key in the door lock when they check out.
