âWe really enjoyed our stay at the Banoge House. We were coming in late and the host, John, stayed up to greet us and show us around when we came in. He is friendly, welcoming, and cooks a delicious Irish breakfast.
We were in a room for four people, a large bed for my husband and I and two single beds for our children. It's lovely having that combination. We enjoyed the Victorian decor and the massive bath. It felt like living in a cross between a museum and a home.

âI loved the bedroom and dining room. The style of decor was excellent and bedroom nice and dark.
Food was fabulous very tasty and filling.
Good choice of foofd at breakfast. You could choose your own omelette filliing and they were lovely.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
The only problems were that the sink tended to block and phone didnt work.

âWe had an unforgettable stay at the Regency House in Belfast. The Mayorâs Suite was absolutely incredibleâspacious, elegant, and full of character. Just as impressive was the service; each of the girls we dealt with went above and beyond, easily some of the best hospitality weâve ever experienced (we found out they live together, study together and work together - and it shows that the all share the same work ethic and kindness)!

âWe only booked one night as we didnât know how long we needed to stay due to a family situation. The hotel kept our room open whether we used it or not and only charge for the days we are here at discounted rates. All staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and hugely empathetic. â
âIt's a house with multiple lockable rooms where guests can stay.
I liked that the kitchen was self-service. There was lots to choose from for breakfast. We also used the refrigerator for our own stuff. There was a big supermarket 150 meters from the house and a McDonald's even closer.
Downsides:
Check-in was a bit strict, just 13.00 to 14.00. The host may be more flexible with the times if you call them well ahead of time but our flight changed schedule to arrive three hours earlier than...
âThe 1852 was a great place to start our tour of Ireland and definitely our stay in Belfast! Check in was smooth and we appreciated them leaving some beers for welcome and to recognize folks checking themselves in. (Unfortunately there appeared to be some folks that thought they needed all the free beer).
We had a hike of the stairs as there isnât an elevator, but loved the room, hotel, pub and location!â
