Our home is meticulously maintained and thoroughly cleaned after each stay to prepare for new guest arrivals. Red Barn has been recently updated with new furnishings, homey mountain decorations, ceiling fans, a gas fireplace & more!

Enjoy comfortability on the main level with a cozy open-concept living and dining room bathed in the natural lighting of floor-to-ceiling windows! Cook to your heart's desire with our fully functional kitchen*. Cozy up in Bedroom #1 with two twin-size beds, decorated to satisfy any age traveler and snuggle in to watch a movie on the Smart TV! Freshen up in Bathroom #1 with a walk-in shower, or throw a load of laundry in the washer and dryer.

Journey upstairs to find Bedrooms #2 and #3! Bedroom #2 has a comfortable King bed with Smart TV access to Dish, Netflix, & Hulu while Bedroom #3 has a cozy queen bed with Smart TV access to Netflix & Hulu. Enjoy convenience to Bathroom #2 - situated perfectly between the two bedrooms!

Enjoy vacation the the fullest with plush towels, wash clothes, and hand towels! Don't worry about sheets, pillows, or blankets - we have you covered!

Awaken to the mountain sunrise through the living room windows overlooking North Carolina mountains and valleys! Enjoy from nearly every vantage point in the house! Step out onto the back deck to relax and cookout with the family on the gas grill.

Enjoy the amenities offered by our peaceful mountain Resort of Doe Run. Play a competitive game of tennis at the courts or enjoy a quiet walk through the community. Slip away for a drive down the parkway to Old Mill, Skyline Lakes Golf Course, or even down the mountain to Mount Airy, NC - home of Andy Griffith!

- dish rags, trash bags, paper towels, soap, sponges, toaster oven, Keurig Coffee maker (2 K-cups supplied), plates, cups, wine glasses, wine opener, mugs, can opener, grilling utensils, silverware, ice cream scoop, mixing bowls, hand mixer, cookie sheets, pots, pans, skillets, cutting boards, and more!
We recommend that all guest purchase travel insurance. We do not accept guest alterations within two weeks of the reservation.

All roads leading to "The Little Red Barn" are paved and maintained.

While they do not happen often at all sometimes being in the mountains we will loose power or internet. However both of those are out of our control. We do not give refunds for power, weather or internet outages. If there would happen to be a power or internet outage please reach out to us immediately and we will get in touch with the internet and power companies right away.

4x4 is not required to access the property at all except in cases of snow.

While we do our best to inform our guest about upcoming winter weather it is smart to always keep the weather checked while coming to the mountains in the winter. If you would happen to get your vehicle stuck in the snow or ice the guest are responsible for paying a towing company to pull them out. We will gladly give you recommendations on who to use.
