Family getaway

It is a beautiful property with a wonderful view of the ocean - very well kept and comfortable for everyone. My dad uses a walker and the walk-in shower was great for him. Thanks for letting us stay!

Accurate listing, clean, lives larger than1700 sq. ft. Easy walk to beach and resturants. Nice pool. 3 bathrooms were key. Beautiful beach!

Perfect location

Very clean- cleaner than we expected for a beachfront condo. Shorewood overall is very nice and in the perfect location. The twin beds could each use a new mattress, but this would not prevent us from renting this unit again. Rent bikes! HH has made it easy to walk & bike on the trails.

The condo was clean and beautiful. Within walking distance to multiple restaurants. Of course the beach was spectacular, we loved being able to see it from the living room.

First visit to Hilton Head

Overall, we had a great time, but there are issues with this condo that would keep us from re-booking. Pros: Gated property, Nice pool, beautiful view of the ocean (bonus for the deer and rabbits we saw in the dunes), Rental equipment credit which allowed us to rent 5 bicycles for the week. HHI has amazing bike trails! Condo is very close to Coligny Plaza and the Adventure Playground that my kids loved. Cons: Appliances should be improved. Very small washer/dryer, which only allowed for a half load. This was an issue with our 6 person family. The combination microwave and oven would not allow for a typical sized casserole dish or rectangular pan. We gave up trying to use it. One of the two twin bed mattresses is very uncomfortable. Our two young daughters complained about how noisy and uncomfortable it was, so I imagine an adult would not be able to sleep on it either. The worst part was the air conditioning. There is a note above the thermostat that says do not set below 74 degrees because it can cause the unit to freeze up. It was an incredibly hot week, and we were miserably hot. We then saw another set of laminated instructions on the table that said not to set it below 70 degrees. On the web page, it said 68. We settled on 70 degrees, which was bearable. There are no ceiling fans or ceiling lights, only lamps. The master bedroom en suite bathroom shower drain was very slow to drain so we were standing in water during our shower.

great location, wonderful view of the ocean from the balcony. property was clean, comfortable and homey. check-in/check-out, etc was extermely easy and well communicated. would definitely recommend the property, and would not hesitate to rent again.

Very nice condo in a great location

.Great location on the property. A very easy walk to the pool and beach. Comfortable porch over looking the water. Everything was very nice. The only down side was the twin mattresses in the small bedroom were not comfortable for adults.

The view from the living room, covered porch and main bedroom are wonderful. Looking past the dunes to the water is breathtaking. The sunrises stunning. The condo itself is very spacious and well equipped with a few exceptions like a sharp knife and matching glass wine glasses. The only downside is its proximity to a hotel and beach bar. Music was loud afternoons and weekends detracting from the use of the patio for reading or resting. In general the living dining area could use a facelift or some targeted refreshing. I

Perfect Beach Experience

We had a fantastic stay at Shorewood. The property matched the perfect weather we had. The unit was very roomy and nicely appointed. Great view of the ocean and seating for all on the balcony. All furniture, appliances and cookware were in vey good condition. The pool is amazing and hot tub was great too. Easy access to beach and the beach itself is beautiful in this section. Quick walk or bike to Coligny circle for restaurants, shops, groceries etc. this is our second time at this unit. Would go back again for sure.

Had a nice vacation

We enjoyed our stay at the villa. Everything was nice and neat Overall well stocked and appreciated the essentials provided such as dish detergent, soap, towels , dish soap, laundry detergent pods etc This really proved to be most helpful and considerate We received email communication in a timely manner with all our check in and check out info. And they were helpful when I called to ask questions very friendly Security guard was friendly Easy walk to and from the beach and pool. The pool and hot tub which is shared was clean and tidy. We enjoyed all the amenities this complex offered. Easy and enjoyable walk to near by restaurants, shopping and park. The only negative thing I’d mention is check the silverware we came across some dirty knifes and forks; which is gross So we made sure to wash everything in the kitchen before using Seeing some dirty kitchen items made me anxious and grossed out to use without cleaning myself. And this very specific tray needed for the oven was available so we were a able to cook dinner in an oven.
