The Space:

Old House Cay is a premier destination consisting of a series of private islands, offering a rare opportunity to inhabit a completely off-grid, sustainable home built in 2010. The residence is designed to maximize its unique surroundings, featuring large windows that frame the expansive Lowcountry marshes and waterways. The interior boasts a warm, wooden aesthetic with a modern kitchen, comfortable living quarters, and three well-appointed bedrooms.

Outside, the property is a playground for nature lovers. Guests have access to multiple decks for sunbathing or stargazing, and a private deep-water dock perfect for tying up your own vessel or casting a line. The home’s off-grid systems provide reliable power and water without sacrificing comfort, allowing you to disconnect from the world while staying in total luxury.



Guest Access:

Your journey begins with a complimentary boat transfer to the island, as the property is accessible only by water. For those traveling with their own vessel, a private deep-water dock is available for your exclusive use throughout your stay. Once on the island, guests have full and private access to the entire home, the surrounding island grounds, and the dock facilities. Kayaks are provided to allow for exploration of the serene tidal creeks and surrounding marshlands at your leisure.



Other Things to Note:

To ensure a comfortable stay, the kitchen is fully equipped with plates, cups, bowls, pots, and pans. As this is an off-grid, island location, please be prepared by bringing your own cooking basics, such as oils, spices, and condiments. We recommend packing your groceries for the duration of your stay to fully enjoy the seclusion without the need for frequent trips to the mainland. Please note that while the home is off-grid, it features modern appliances and plumbing for a seamless experience.
