You get the whole place to yourself. There is a full kitchen and all the comforts of home. You have total privacy, yet I am only a phone call or text away, should the need arise. If you stay long-term, I will check in with you periodically, but basically leave you alone unless you contact me.

The Spa on Port Royal Sound was built before there were building restrictions regarding distance from the water. As a result, the complex is extraordinarily close to the Sound. (FYI-Low tide does go out about 1/2 a mile.) The marsh grass has grown in behind the breakwater rocks on our beach, at the same time, a sandbar in front of the rocks has been built up and a proper beachfront has developed. It's quite a beautiful natural phenomenon and has provided us with 2 beaches. You have to see it to understand, but if you prefer a more regular beach, Mitchellville Beach is just a few hundred feet to the left of the property for those requiring a more "proper" beach experience.

The complex is flanked by two public parks laden with Spanish moss-covered live oaks and resides at the end of a dead-end road. There is little to no traffic noise, except the occasional airplane taking off or landing at the small airport nearby. We enjoy an abundance of wildlife and embrace the opportunity to go fishing, crabbing, shrimping, and clamming. I have personally seen other amazing wildlife including dolphins, eagles, hammerhead sharks, stingrays along with the more common egrets, ravens, jellyfish, crabs, and horseshoe crabs.

Amateur and professional photographers alike enjoy spectacular sunsets, cloud formations, storm fronts, rainbows, etc. with amazing 360-degree views (especially at low tide when you can walk way out.) I have thousands of sunset pictures on my iPhone, each distinctively different and beautiful in its own way.

As guests, you will have private access to the entire beautiful villa. Sit back, relax, and make yourselves at home! You can enjoy free parking and access to resort amenities, including 24-hour security, 3 pools (2 outdoor and 1 indoor), tennis courts, a gym, a dry sauna, and a small playground.

Note that the condo is located on the second level and requires walking up a set of stairs.

While you're staying here, the condo will be your private oasis. This is a family-owned vacation space that we share with guests. We try very hard to make a clean, safe, comfortable vacation home that provides some R&R to those who will appreciate the effort and space provided. The complex was originally built in 1984, and the grounds and beach offer a tranquil natural setting.

With two cozy bedrooms, this beautiful villa is great for families with small kids or a group of friends looking for a relaxing beach vacation.

The primary bedroom features a king-size bed with multiple pillow types to choose from and a private ensuite bathroom with a luxurious glass walk-in shower.

The second bedroom is perfect for any kids you may be traveling with, but it works great for adults too! This room has a twin-over-full bunk bed, a flat-screen Smart TV, and a comfy sleeper sofa that can accommodate additional guests.

There is a second full bathroom conveniently located off the main living space with a shower and bathtub combo. Both bathrooms are stocked with fresh towels and complimentary eco-friendly toiletries - no need to take up space packing your own!

The modern kitchen boasts sleek granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and all the basic cookware, dishes, and utensils you’ll need for cooking tasty meals. There’s a drip coffee maker and Keurig machine for the coffee lovers in the group.

The open floor plan makes it easy to hang out as a group while your designated chef does the cooking. Keep the chef company from the breakfast bar (seating for four), or the comfort of the couch. As you relax, you can stream your favorite shows on the flat-screen TV mounted on the custom Tabby shell feature wall. The large living room is a bright and inviting space, thanks to the attractive shiplap wall and nature-inspired artwork, plus the view of lush greenery from the balcony door.

No beach villa is complete without a beautiful outdoor space. The villa boasts a private deck off of the living room, with stunning views of Port Royal Sound. Take in the views and salty sea air as you grill up the catch of the day, or sip morning coffee from one of the chairs while gazing at the lagoon and enjoying the relaxing sound of the nearby fountains.

In addition to the private patio, you will have access to all the resort amenities. The condo is close to two of the three property pools - you can see one of them from the balcony! There’s also direct access to a sandy beach, so you can enjoy many a lazy beach day. We provide beach chairs, towels, and an umbrella to make your beach day a breeze! When you’ve had enough sun, you can enjoy the indoor pool, gym, dry sauna, tennis courts, or playground.

Please note that the Island is rather large, 60+ sq mi, the largest barrier Island in South Carolina, so you really do need a car to get around. We are less than a mile from the airport in Hilton Head, or some people fly into Savannah, GA, which is about an hour away. Unfortunately, there is no public transportation on Hilton Head, but Uber/Lyft is readily available. Additionally, there are public bike paths and several bike rental companies nearby that deliver. It's fun to get around via bicycle, but you will still need a car.

Port Royal Sound and Fish Haul Beach
The natural shoreline is quiet, and the shallow water is perfect for small children. This is a great spot to hunt for shells and sea life, as well as enjoy the natural surroundings. Bird watchers enjoy this side of the island and a bald eagle frequents the area. Please note, at low tide, the floor can be mushy or muddy in places - it is best traveled with water shoes (but still doable if you don't mind the squish). This is the shoreline of Port Royal Sound - if you are looking to boogie board or enjoy waves and fluffy sand, we recommend Islanders Beach or Folly Field Beach which are Atlantic-facing beaches about a 10-minute drive away.
