Inside, two separate living areas provide household flexibility, with the main living room featuring an open-concept layout connecting the kitchen for ultimate group gatherings. Additional perks include central air-conditioning, free WiFi, and a private washer/dryer.

Our stay was consistent with other reviews. House is located in a great area/neighborhood with a quick drive to Folly Field Beach or a 10-15 minute walk. The beach has a great public access with a boardwalk to the beach (no stairs) and nice public restrooms & showers. We stayed here b/c we really like this beach access and neighborhood. The house & property while clean, do need some overall maintenance. The positives are the pool with a fenced backyard, washer & dryer to clean your beach towels, refrigerator with an ice maker. Beds were comfortable and TVs in 2 of the 3 bedrooms. We also stayed here b/c of it being dog-friendly but the entire backyard is gravel and the fencing is in need of repair. Both gates on either side, while did latch did not seem too secure. The pool was not very clean and was in need of vacuuming. You will also most likely need to skim the pool of leaves everyday due to the trees. We asked for the leaves to be blown off the patio (it was Sept) and the pool to be cleaned. While they were responsive and came to blow leaves the same day, they never did come to clean the pool. The pool “toys”, beach chairs & kayak they claim to be available are stored outside and were not clean/useable. The kitchen is open and has all appliances needed but it is very sparse on glassware and any extra utensils (no scissors, no ice cream scoop, etc). It has the bare minimum for cooking. All in all it is suitable but could use some TLC.

Great dog friendly home in walking distance to Folly Field beach. This is one of the few homes that allows 4 dogs AND has an awesome in ground pool to cool off in midday. The house was great for my toddler as well and was close to everything. There is some traffic noise right outside the house as you’re off a busy road but that didn’t both us. The walk to the beach is 12 minutes and you need to cross a street to get to the path. The fence is 6’ for most of the property but only 3’ in the front so take note of that if your dogs can jump! We will definitely be back

There was a few issues that could have been resolved before we arrived. Driveway was a turn around for vehicles. Coffee pot missing, replaced it. No broom replaced it. Pool was dirty tried to clean it, shy of vacuuming it. Furniture is in need of being changed, couch covers can only do so much, beds were quite uncomfortable.

Great pool, accurate listing

The house was great for what we needed it for. Just a few friends gathering for a few days. My bed was comfortable and the daybed in the living room was comfortable. The furniture choices at this property are odd. Tv trays used as bed side tables, a ton of random mismatched chairs in the living room/dining room area. The outdoor furniture was all over the place and not arranged at all, looked like a college party house in some ways. My bedroom door did not close and that was an issue for me, we had to wedge something under the door to keep it closed which made it a pain to come and go from my room. The house is on a major road and the dog getting out was a concern. It would be really nice if there was a fenced area out front to prevent any accidents from happening there. The washer dryer was brand new and worked great. The water pressure in the showers was great, there needs to be a shower curtain on the back bathroom shower - water just gets all over the place when you shower. Coffee pot was nice - no pods option which was perfectly fine for us. The refrigerator and freezer worked great. The air conditioner worked great, it does stay slightly warmer in the bedrooms - the living room was the coldest. You can hear everything in this house so I recommend bringing ear plugs to sleep. Bar, restaurant, & mini golf right across the street!

did not get to stay at designated place

We arrived at check in time to find a VACASA van there and he was working on a seal for a toilet. So we left and went to the grocery store and when we returned we got a call that stated we could not stay in the home due to plumbing issues. They found us a place comparable 4 hours away. I called twice and spoke to two different people and was told the same thing. We picked this place because we wanted a private pool for the week and pet friendly. My husband called on the third time and spoke with a gentleman that was able to get us in a town house about "six minutes" away but did not have a private pool. I do understand that things happen but would have appreciated not having to make three calls to get to a person that knew what they were talking about regarding the problem. The first two ladies did not even try to help rectify finding a closer place.

Terrible communication with host

While our trip was fun and successful, qnd house was perfect, communication with host was the worst ive had. I was told to park our 3rd car in a parking lot with many tow a away signs, and not until the last night did they tell me i can leave my car in the driveway of the house. Then in the middle of the day on Saturday, of all days, the pool cleaner came and we couldnt use the pool from 2pm-6pm. We only had 3 nights and 2 days so getting that poop opportunity without no kind of notification of any sort really did not make us happy. Luckily i have been to hilton head for over a decade so the trip itself worked out overall.
