Great location

The location and house and heated pool are great. The only downside was the amount of workers that would come to the property while we stayed there. The landscape, the pool cleaners, came multiple times during the week while we were outside enjoying the space. A neighbor even knocked on the door to let us know that one of the sprinklers was not working properly.

Beach

We loved the short walk to the beach. The house worked great for us. The only thing we thought needed looked into is the toilet in the bedroom with the queen bed needs a new handle assembly as it would stick open and run.

Long weekend getaway

Great property for multiple generational family get away with one level home. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and easy paved walkway to the beach. The beach access was accessible via the back yard or a short walk from the front door. Home featured a large deck and patio with a private pool that very nice. The home is mid century and the owners have kept true to the style. Very nice landscaping and beautiful tree lined street.

Cozy and charming home in great location

My family enjoyed a 3 night stay at this property and were very satisfied. It is a cozy and charming home. The beach access path is directly next to the home. The home is spacious and great setup for kids and pets. The location within Palmetto Dunes is great! Very easy driving or biking access to the General Store, tennis, golf, or Shelter Cove. We go to Hilton Head 1-2x per year and will for sure be looking to stay here again.

Perfect spot for a family-friendly beach getaway!

This house was wonderful! Close to the beach, quiet, and well-maintained. Lots of space to spread out, with lots of games and activities to do together as well. We’ll definitely be booking this one again!

Great location, convenient beach access

We stayed here from June10-17, 2023. The house itself is nice. The path to the beach is right next to the. house so you see people walking to and from the beach but it is less than a minute walk which is great. The private pool was nice but there are too many trees and the pool gets shaded in the afternoon. The whole back yard needs some trees trimming and taken down. The bedrooms are a great size, we did flip the mattresss in the twin bed room for better comfort. The rental agency Vacasa is basically collecting money but not keeping up with the general maintenance of the home. When we arrived, there was garbage all over the back garbage section that an animal had gotten into and the the two cans were overflowing with the previous guest's garbage. The sliding screen door screen was broken, the handle on the left hot faucet was broken off in one of the bathrooms. The sliding door in the master bedroom didn't lock as someone had broken the handle. lightbulbs needed replacing and the pool skimmer was broken. When I called on the day of arrival (3 times) I was told they would put a ticket in for repairs. On Monday, Frank came over with a new skimmer, lightbulbs and he cleaned up the garbage that had been strew around by the animal but didn't take the overflowing cans. He left us with some more garbage bags and tried to fix the broken door as it didn't lock. He said he would get back to me on the other repairs. I tried texting him again but never heard from him.

Barefoot to the Beach

We had a getaway with our family of six including two kids under age 10 and two grandparents. This house was perfect and exactly what we were looking for to spend time together. We walked barefoot to the beach every day multiple times whether it was for the sunrise, to relax with the convenient beach gear in garage or to bike ride. It was so easy with the beach access walk way in the backyard! Otherwise we enjoyed the spacious pool and deck w grilling out or headed to Coligny just mins away. The house is very well equipped and clean. It felt homey to play cards and enjoy Halloween movies and everyone slept well! The washer/dryer was a bonus!

Everything we needed

The house itself is just ok but the overall experience is great. Pool guy came twice during our one week stay. Cant get better beach access without being right on the beach. Would stay again

Great Location, good value

Nice pool, a minute walk to the beach, the beach was mostly empty and great sand. The house is a little dated, but functional; the sliding door needs work badly (seems like no wheel left to slide on, it just drags); but the house was clean and had nice furnishings. The yard also needs some tidying up. But a great week was had by all. Thanks!

Great location

Our family had a great time. We loved this home and it’s location. It’s very close to the ocean. A couple of things to share. .. The pool heat was not working for us- and we notified the manager on day of arrival. They were aware the pool heat was not adequate as she shared this with me from maintenance. This was extremely disappointing to my family and frustrating to me. No one came to service the pool- yet we were told they may not be a key to get there in time. We arrived on Wednesday and left Sunday. The property has some other issues that have been addressed by other renters in reviews and those things have not been addressed either. The house is amazing and just needs some TLC!

Perfect Location

The yard and inside of the house were clean but they needed some freshening up. I believe the house had not been rented for a few weeks before our arrival and things just needed to be dusted and yard debris picked up

Property is old, unkept and not maintained- will NOT rent again

The location of the house is great. The rest leaves much to be desired especially for the cost. The house has not been maintained and basics are missing and need attention. House was dirty -dusty and dead bugs and cobwebs in the corners of the kitchen. Bathroom shower was dirty, old soap left in the shower, hair on floor. Corroded fixtures and Lightbulbs missing in master bathroom each other room, comforter missing in master, amenities not stocked for the week - (paper towels, garbages bags, hand soap, dishwasher packets, laundry soap etc) shower door falling off in 2nd bedroom. Mattress in 2nd bedroom is uncomfortable noisy. Bathroom overflowed in first day. Pool was dirty. Patio furniture is old corroded and has sharp areas. Host of other issues.

Can't beat location

The house is great and the location and private pool is amazing! Property owners BADLY need to address the state of the rusted outdoor table. I cut my toe on one of the rusted out legs and attempted to cal the property manager several times but could not get thru by phone or email.

Amazing location .

Location is great. House with a shaded pool a short walk to the beach was so nice. Pool and outdoor area was pretty dirty. Had to clean before being able to get in. Once cleaned we enjoyed it

This property is neat and clean and everything worked properly. We love that it is pet friendly and a short walk to the beach (3rd row house). The outdoor pool space needs the most attention. The pool itself needs updating/cleaning. The water was clear and clean but the pool itself needs some attention and more pool furniture is needed. Overall we are happy with the property and enjoyed our stay.

Location, location, location!

Beautiful neighborhood and close to beach access. No beach view but plenty of wildlife. Deer were in the yard every evening munching on bushes. House could use some updates. Some windows and blinds in kitchen need fixed or replaced. Stove is old but worked. Stained carpet and old living room furniture. Carolina anole 🦎 If these freak you out you may have a proble with this place. Found these in the kitchen windows (inside) every morning. Prettty easy to ‘escort’ out but surprising on the first morning. Property is rented by a management company so don’t expect any homey touches.
