This one bedroom, one bath 900 sq foot condo affords comfort and relaxation with high end finishes, well appointed spaces and access to two private beaches within palmetto dunes. Golf, bike trails, tennis and pickle ball are just a few of the amenities at your finger tips. The captain’s quarters pool includes a beautiful hot tub and view of the intracoastal waterway. Ride the bike trail from your door 1.6 miles to Disney or Dunes beach access. Or call the free palmetto dunes buggy shuttle for door to door access 9 am- 9 pm daily April - September.

The private beach access is located within palmetto dunes resort at the Disney beach access or the Dunes house access. You need to sport your security pass to get Thru both security gates, the north gate for Disney, off ocean blvd or through the South Gate to get to the dunes access.
Both offer food, but Dunes has a lovely beach front restaurant overlooking the sand. Disney has a snack shop adjacent to the restrooms up the steps, for food and beverages.- but is currently closed due to lack of staff! You can walk up to the beachfront bars at both the Omni and the Marriott to enjoy lunch or a libation - both are walking distance from either beach spot !
Ride your bike to the beach, one and a half miles from our door at captains quarters, or call the dune buggy shuttle for a lift door to door, if visiting between March and September.
This on call shuttle can transport you anywhere within palmetto and shelter cove. It’s a great way to get around and then no need to find a parking spot. They also do provide an airport shuttle to Hilton head airport and also Savannah international airport . Phone 843-816-4210 for either airport shuttle . Riding your beach bike when the tide is low is a must do in Hilton head. You can ride the bike trails 4.8 miles to Coligny for shopping and respite, then head to the beach to ride home!
Many boating options at your finger tips within the harbor. Whether you wish to launch a kayak or paddle board, go with a group or alone, there are many ways to get out on the water. If you enjoy history and want to visit a quiet enclave, take a ferry or private boat to Dafuskie island ( da first key ) rich in Gullah history and explore via golf carts accessible at the general store, once you land .
If biking is your jam, there are more than 60 miles of trails to explore
If golf is your focus, you may choose from over 33 courses. The three in palmetto dunes, the Robert Trent Jones , the George Fazio Course and Arthur Hills round out what’s closest.
If your interested in pickle ball, Just wait til you see what fun happens 7 days a week, year round at the Palmetto Dunes tennis and pickle ball center. Tennis is here too, but it seems like the pickle players are having the most fun.
The food scene on the island is amazing, so many choices, and such an international flavor.
The pearl sports a binder with many great recommendations, but simply stroll through the harbor any evening and music is playing at several spots and you’ll have plenty of choices right outside your door. The Shelter Cove Towne center has a plethora of shops and restaurants as well..don’t miss shelter cove park across from Poseidon restaurant , where the Rec Center offers boot camp exercise classes most days weather permitting.

I’ve been collecting five star reviews exclusively since we opened the doors in June of 2019.
If you are traveling with others, or have a regular golf getaway you share with friends, I do have neighbors in the Captains Quarters starboard building and port building who I’ve coordinated with to afford a group their own unit, but accompanied trips. Some options include units next door or on same floor in the Starboard building. As long as space is available, I’m happy to help any visitor secure multiple one bedroom units for a groups getaway.
A security pass is required to park in our gated parking, but is also needed to access either of the two beach access points, one via the South Gate ( Disney beach) and one through the north gate, ( Dunes house beach ). I will have your pass ready for pick up at any time on your day of arrival. You can explore any of the islands amenities including Palmetto Dunes once you’ve retrieved your pass. There is a $25 fee for this pass that you pay directly to the security office. Directions for this are included in our Welcome letter, that is emailed 48 hours prior to arrival.
A day trip to Savannah is an easy jaunt. There are fabulous trolley tours that will acclimate any history buff and allow you to jump on and off depending
on your interests. Lunch is always a treat on River street or Market street. A stop in Bluffton is a treat too, as Bluffton overlooks the May River.

Don’t miss the summertime fireworks show from the balcony of The Pearl. Tuesday nights, June - august, beginning at dusk. Shelter cove puts on quite a show. Enjoy if from the comfortable balcony seating, overlooking the marsh.. July 4 th too, but otherwise on Tuesday’s all summer!
The Pearl is conveniently located on the south end of shelter cove harbor which is home to many boutique shops, restaurants and bars, ice cream and boat rentals. You need not go far to round out your activities whether you come tor a week , or a month there’s much to go in this resort area! From April until September a free shuttle- the palmetto dunes buggy makes getting around easy and convenient. If you prefer a quiet balcony overlooking the intracoastal waterway you can enjoy the solitude on your private balcony and watch the wildlife and vessels move about at low or high tide.F
